Daily Quote

I was thinking, Sibi is working on the Daily Sip for poetry ofcourse, but since we are Poems and Quotes as well, I thought to make this thread to share a Quotation, to hear others impression about it. Whether agree disagree, like, heard of before. etc..

And for others to share more quotes by the Author I'll share his/her Quotation for the day.

Great idea, Nana. I like the quote... if you have the courage to try for something, you're that much closer succeeding. That's the impression I get.

Ya I agree, I also got the impression that if someone has the guts to try something knowing that it may end up with failure, then they are more likely to succeed when doing so...

orr maybe though I had the courage to try and fail...I have the courage to try and win, though winning may not be on my side and will gain more enemies ?.. That's if we were in her case, ofcourse, a politician.

To struggle is way easier than to win, right?

Great idea Nana! I just love daily inspirational quotes!

My impressions of the quote were to never give up, even when things don't seem to go the way you planned or if you fail, and that you try and try again, until you succeed in your endeavors and there is a positive outcome.

I also get from the quote that courage to struggle is truly different from courage to win.
To struggle is to say "No" to the way things are, to unfairness, to wrong. However, to struggle is only to attack a negative, or to defend from it, in the vein of Camus' rebel.
Winning entails a whole world vision of how things ought to be and your efforts are now directed toward making it be that way. You set your sights higher toward a positive goal, beyond the conflict at hand, so that the fight becomes much more meaningful, yet is relegated to a means to an end.

Ah, I get what you're saying. I thought I'd just ask because if you were to be the OP and you ever happened to need ideas for quotes for the Daily Quote that I had lots of inspirational quotes to share! :)
