Dan, I never said otherwise. I was listing off characteristics Bob has that might be confused with "most intelligent."

Brief Bio: ... bobby was raised in a tuff environment with every temptation known to mankind. He lived among the worst and the best. He did some time for a tragic mistake in his life. He did some boxing. Bob was brought up by an aunt that loved and took care of him as no-one else felt the need to. Bob through all that has an impeccable sense of humor. Bob is a self taught and read individual who represents abilities reached if the want is there. Bob is an exceptional brilliant poet for his lack of formal education. Bob has spent a large part of his life helping and mentoring the underprivileged youth from an area of the country that has a high death rate for its youth.
Through it all bob enjoys people. ( only lord knows why) For more then a few years here on P.Q. he has been the stalwart behind supporting and sharing his knowledge and helping those who deserved his help. His humor and laughter has kept most for us together in reality. Bobs trade in life was refurbishing old buildings and repair work for his customers and friends. Therefore untold talents even I can only guess. . Bob refuses no-one.
Bob and I bonded almost immediately because of our backgrounds in construction. We have been through all the trenches. His humor is spontaneous. Immediately does he grasp the difference between reality and fantasy.
God was watching this young man and though late in life gave him his reward, a beautiful healthy, strong son. He was truly blessed deservedly so.
If Bob was ever demeaning or sarcastic (rare) it was after a well thought out consequence to someone's inability to be human towards their fellow man. Another trait he doesn't tolerate.
Although we hardly if ever engage this site anymore we still communicate. For me he has become a life long endearment.
intelligence is knowing what life is, Bob knows exactly what life is.

Why so Jane? Dan gave his opinion under the same circumstances and hasn't retracted them?

It would be unprofessional as a mod, and when I have given my opinions on Bob in the past, my my has it backfired! Haha.

Well even the president is entitled to his opinion..isn't that right? Freedom of speech and all that? Bob never gave any thought to others when giving his opinion after all.

All I'll say is that I already knew Bob's life story and history (from the man himself and from others). It doesn't change how I feel about him from personal experiences, and how I feel is quite opposite to how Dan feels.

Even the President is entitled to his opinion, and even the President is careful not to state his opinion too strongly when it could divide the country ;) hehe
