I tried not to tally any answers that had a member that is no longer a part of the site. Danny was a part of the site at the time, so he is excluded from that statement.

Point is, last time we talked about members and anyone gave their opinion, people freaked out because "they aren't here to defend themselves". This time is no different. People have strong personalities and not everyone agrees. No one is probably going to change anyones mind, so we should probably move on. There's really no point to discuss something that doesn't really matter. Not saying people don't matter, but you.know what I mean.

But he doesn't. He is one of the ones who got mad at people for talking about suspended/past members, because they aren't here to defend themself. He'd probably have an I don't care attitude, but I still don't think we should just sit around and talk about people that aren't here. It blows up in our faces every time and brings nothing good but cranky pants posts! :)

Maybe that's because it was mostly positive talk - at worst, neutral. I think anyone who knows Bob knows that people's feelings toward him are anything but neutral. He brings out the extremes. Diehard fans and... casualties in the Bob parade :P

Gosh I had no idea that my spew would attract such negativity. I was not intent to engage personalities but only in what is contained between the ears. Also I could have even listed many more who out shine existing suns (sons) sic. Also if I have insulted by adding to many ddds it was reaction not of action.
All of us from old to young need a remake of what we perceive life. We must first and foremost embrace humor. Humor heals the soul, anger steals the soul.
I am to blame for negativity, but also I feel a poll honoring perceived friendly jesters also offends. If done with humor though or tongue in cheek jesting it should remain that. So when one jests the other should be given benefit of doubt as an equal.

I too am curious as to how some of these "newbies" know so much about past members. However Illum isn't here, I'd spot his poetry a mile away. It's usually shimmering.
