Baby Rainbow's Challenges

Okay, I have decided to open this thread and run it to see if anyone is interested. If so then I shall continue and if there is no response then at least we have tried.

Anyone interested in a challenge, I want you to PM me with between 1-5 numbers between 1 and 613.
I have a list of prompts and will reply to you with the chosen prompts and this is what you will use to write your poem.

Example:

PM me with 3,18,228,339, 500 - you might get

1. Behind These Eyes
2. Heavy Rain
3. The Devil's Shop
4. Six Seconds
5. Stars

SO you would have to write a poem using as much of the prompts given as you can.

OR... PM me with the 5 numbers, and another members name and I will message them with the challenge but they will not know who has challenged them with it. Just adds a bit of fun.

Start messaging me and we can start this now. you can use this thread to post your poems to if you wish - or just post them to your page. xxx

If you want to be challenged anonymously by someone else, state your name below and I will add you to the list. No one will know, except of course, if you challenge me :)

Britt, *hangs head in shame* yes I do have a prompt list. it has about 1000+ prompts in it, I take it from movie tites, book titles, song lyrics, certain words that stand out or look good together etc. I just can't help myself and therefore have ended up with a notebook of ideas for titles or prompts!! I post 30 every week in my club so I am up to 613 so far.

The random numbers are great, some are easier and others are very challenging to blend them all into one poem.

That would be fun to see (but don't put the numbers so cheaters can't take the easy ones! LOL).

When are poems are done, are they being scored like a challenge, or is this just a writing prompt?

For now I would just have it as a writing prompt, posting it to your own profiles, then everyone will get the idea of it. And then if you all want to turn it into a challenge we can discuss that, details etc and I would be happy to do that also.

You can pick as many as you want... it is yourself your challenging. But I assume there would be some angry monkeys if someone got challenged with 613 titles lol. So I thought 5 was a nice number.

Looks like a blast! Saffe, you are inspiring here.... and you're not crazy for writing down all those prompts. That'd be perfect for hundreds of rainy days :D

I will put a star next to the list above for people who have been challenged, then you can see who to challenge that hasn't been challenged as much as others.

You can choose as much as you want. Just keep messaging me, in your message just state if its for someone else or not so I can send them it.

You can challenge as many as you want too. The list at the top shows people interested in being challenged, the star next to their name shows how many times they have been challenged.

This is going really well everyone, there is a great mixture of easy and challenging ones being dealt. But everyone is coming up with amazing poems!

Yes you can ask for numbers for yourself AND for others too.
Yes you can use more or less than 5 numbers
Yes you can challenge other members with the exact same numbers ( very interesting to see this )
No, there is not a deadline or competition for these poems... although competition could be an idea for future.

I might be a little rusty but want to get the juices flowing again.

Thank you to those that have challenged me! I am having fun with these.
