Well today I leave at 5am (lovely since it's 3:38 a.m. and I didn't sleep much to the fact I'm sick yay not sleeping for two days!) I just wanted to tell everyone that celebrates Christmas and those who don't and celebrate another tradition to value their time with their loved ones!

With all the best and Happy New Years too!

    Merry Christmas one and all!

One week prior to this Christmas my son moved into his first apartment and I could not be more proud, he did more than ok for himself. It is a bit difficult to see his empty room, but it was time for him to fly from the nest. Strange enough, I don't feel 'old' as some mothers say at this stage, I feel as I felt before he was born: young, free and full of plans. Next year I am starting a brand new career as soon as all my exams are over and I am so exited!

Christmas used to be the worst holiday for me, my very first child was still born on Christmas day in 1983, so I never really felt the need to celebrate it all that much, and would volunteer on Christmas eve, or do the toy for tots run, then sleep or watch football all day on Christmas, Then My son Xavier was born on Christmas day 2010, and the holiday has new meaning, do I believe in Christmas, no not really, but I believe in him and that's what's important. I love the smiles Christmas brings to the kiddies, and the jolliness of those who celebrate it for whatever reason. So to one and all, have a Happy Holiday season, and cherish those smiles that you make and give......be safe and be joyful.....peace
