Thoughts and prayers please (Cindy)

I have had contact with Cindy's son and sister. She is in ICU and on a vent right now and sedated. As most of you know she is homebound and disabled. This is a huge setback for her. We know what the power of prayers and positive vibes can do, so I am asking please keep her and her family (many are members on this site) in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all in advance.

I read of this on my club thread, and the news literally made me go cold. I know how much she struggles with her health, day in and day out, but I also know how hard she fights and how well she gets on with life. Needless to say, my thoughts are with her and her family and I have no doubt she will pull through this.

Cindy its not the same without you...my prayers and thoughts are with you...you have pulled through many times..you are a fighter..keep at it...hugs and prayers.

Cindy you are in all of our prayers. You are very special to many people on here and I for one am grateful. I will cross my fingers and toes that you pull through and bless us with your messages and love once more...

Had an update from Cindy's brother and she is on a ventilator because of her previous breathing issues and in a medically induced deep sleep so that the antibiotics can have a chance to work as they should. All of this is to let her body and her rest so medications can kick in and work. Keep prayers coming and by the Grace of God, Cindy will be healed.

thanks Sylvia. She is in the best place for the medical treatment to work, so all being right and fair she will come home better than she went in.

This is really sad. I too will surely do pray for her and her family. Hope she gets well soon.

I'll never forget when we had a reunion of sorts and Cindy opened her house to us, it saddened me then about her condition, because the woman is all heart. We've had our run ins over the years, because I don't like maternal women, they make me feel soft and inferior, it's one fault of the many I have, but she never wavered and always has been a rock for many of us when we need solace or just someone to listen to.......hope she gets well and returns soon.

Johnny just messaged me and told me they are going to take Cindy off the vent Friday and pray for her breathing on her own. Praying she gets better soon. Yes Bob I have even had my bouts with her. But everythings good now.

Needless to say, I'm thinking of her daily and my best goes out to her and her family.

Melinda, I got this message from Barb just now on FB

"they took her off the breathing tube about 2 hours ago...she is not fully awake...vitals are holding...fingers crossed".

Barb said that as soon as Cindy was more alert, she hoped to get more information and to really see how Cindy is doing. As Barb said, please keep your fingers crossed and prayers flowing.

Thank you, site members and Cindy's friends for doing that for our friend and founder of Phoenix Rising Club February 2009. We soon have an anniversary and Cindy has to be here for that.

Yes her son just texted me the same a couple of hours ago but I wasn't where I could update. God is the mighty physician. So glad to know she is doing good. Thank you Sylvia for the update.

I just got an update from Cindy's friend. Good News and the prayers are working, so keep them coming.

UPDATE:
update...she has held her own all day...she is just on regular oxygen now...she still has a bacteria infection in her bladder but is being treated for it..diasagreable at times but probably confused as to where she is at and how she got there...hasn't talked but is aware of all that visits...doctors seemed pleased with her...

Fantastic!

Cindy was transferred to a regular floor yesterday, however she is still not responding to us. She's been heavily sedated, so we are hoping as the meds are decreased she wakes up more. Thank you all for your prayers
