I need help! Creative project name!

Hi peeps!

We're working on a grant for our bathroom remodel at work - basically it's not up to code for ADA Accessibility, and we need to remodel 4 bathrooms in our Senior Center for walkers/wheelchairs/safety purposes.

But we need a fun/catchy project name. Some ideas we're kicking around but don't love:

Wheelchairs in the Washroom
Equal Access to the Throne

I keep coming up with super inappropriate ones (droppin' deuces isn't acceptable apparently, hahaha).

I need your creative minds! Help!

Pfttt, droppin' deuces is a great name.

I like the second one though, can't think of any names o_o

LOL I thought so too. Seriously my poor brain only comes up with really awful names, ha!

Being disabled myself I would say the language you use is very important. You will need to be careful about the humour that you use so that you don't offend. (Some disabled people are more sensitive than others).

Something like

Accessible Bathrooms
Wheelchair Access
Mobility access washrooms

Certainly I would run it by a selection of disabled people before going live with it.

One of the biggest problems disabled people face with disability access is that it is often designed by people who are not disabled and so have no idea about the challenges we face.

We're not really using humor other than the part of the bathroom (such as calling it the "throne").

Also, we may not be disabled, but we are definitely in the business and have very strict ADA requirements we must follow. We're going above that, actually, to make it even more roomier and have better grab bars in different places instead of just the required spaces as we've seen what help/works better. :)

Maybe it would be fun to divide the disabled up into groups and have them each pick a name, then everyone casts a vote for their favorite?
