Day 90

It's been 90 days since the genocide on Gaza has started, and I haven't felt this angry in years.

Why would a genocide go on for over 90 days in the twenty first century? Why did it need to become a public opinion case for the Western society to learn about the Israeli 75-year-old occupation of Palestine? Why would the voices of millions of people around the world be simply unheard? Are we truly controlled by a few? It's just, I can't wrap my head around this.
I feel hopeless and useless. I wish I could fight for those kids, I wish I could take this pain instead of them. No kid should know how bombs sound like, no kid should sleep and wake up under the rubble, no kid should starve. Why tf is this still happening thanks to the US veto on a ceasefire? So shameful.

I experienced the trauma of being in a battlefield before and it took me over ten years of therapy and practice to only reduce the frequency of nightmares and flashbacks and I can only imagine how devastated the Palestinian children and civilians must be feeling now and will continue to feel for years to come. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I don't know why I'm posting here. I'm just searching for some positivity that the genocide will be terminated soon.
I'd love to hear what you guys are doing to support the watermelons. Are you boycotting? Protesting? Posting online? Talking about it with friends? Keeping the children and victims in your thoughts?
Would love to feel less alone in this.

Boycotting is hitting them quite hard. My sister gave the family a list of every company that has ties to or is known to support the Zionist state. We've boycotted everything on that list...the list is not small, which shows how much economic support they have. But the overwhelming majority of people around the world support an immediate ceasefire.

We've had protests in Sydney every Sunday and they've been getting bigger each time. It seems there has been some pressure caused by them as Australia, who usually either votes with America or just abstains from voting in the UN regarding Palestine has this time voted in favour of a ceasefire. This surprised me and although I don't have much faith in the current legal system, it's a step. South Africa has also taken a big step with their submission to the World Court to prosecute Israel for clear acts of genocide. If anyone knows apartheid, it's them, so it is a big blow. It's just sad that the Arab nations didn't step up to do that first, or at least work as a team with South Africa for the legal submission.

Spreading the word has been constant here. Unlike the UK, people in Australia are generally way less aware as our media is literally about 95% run by Murdoch, which is pro-Israel. Talking to people and trying to get them to tune in to independent media who are actually reporting on what's going on has been a priority here and it seems to be working, which is great to see. Channels like Al Jazeera, The Grayzone, The Majority Report, and people like Judge Nepolitano, Scott Ritter, Colonel Douglas MacGregor, etc, are who I usually recommend whenever I get the chance to have a conversation with people.

Finally, this genocide will end and that end is not far off. The Zionist state is already crumbling. Their reputation is in the mud and all of their lies are being exposed daily. Not long until it's gone.

    119 days.

The West leaders still don't feel like stopping the murdering of civilians.

Don't know what to say other than I'm so sorry and I hear you... though I cannot begin to imagine. I can only hope there is continued awareness and that we don't, as a country here, just continue to turn a blind eye or try to rationalize any of this (which sadly everything is politicized to the point where people feel they can argue this or decide what is or isn't genocide). And our history has shown so often that civilian lives aren't cared for by the government and those profiting off of war.

    Sending so many hugs...
