Do you judge?

I have to admit, when I was younger I did.... and I always thought I would be that way.

But I have found as I grow and learn, that looks can be deceiving, and the last factor in determining a personality.

I admit, it's wrong, but I do.

However there is explanation to this. It's subconciouse human nature.

there will be many girls who walk by and for some reason i automatically think they are full of themselves or major bitches for no apparent reason, but I am smart enough to keep those thoughts to myself untill I get to know the person. Often I have befriended many of these girls and we all look back and laugh about how we each thought of eachother as a bitchy girl who thought all too highly of herself.

This, is merely one example. it's just human nature that people judge automatically, whether it be a positive or negative assumption. People will deny it untill they're blue in the face, but even if they are smart enough to know their impressions of the person are most likely wrong, subconiously they've made a judgement.

Also, it depends on what the person looks like. If your talking about attractivness, facial features, or skin color, that's where my statement applys. If your talking about how a person dresses, that's a whole different story.

Subconsciously we all make judgements in our mind, but it is the choice of the beholder to vocalize them or not.

Everyone does to a certain extent.

i never judge, you should get to know who they really are, just by appearance is in my opinion wrong, but if you dont agree with me i wont argue.

i wouldn't say i judge by the way they look, but i judge by the way they present themselves and the vibe they give off..its kinda the same.

okay- we all have first impression, and obviously your first impression comes from the way someone looks, but i deffinetly dont base my whole opinion on a person like that... im always willing to talk to someone and get to know them:)

if someone looks different... then id say it to myself.. if they looked weird or stupid or what-not. that sounds real bad. But i used to do it real bad, i dont anymore.

No because its doesn't matter how someone looks, its whats on the inside that counts.

well if they are naked with a million percing walking down the street i would think he was weird..but i think that would be the only time...but i know everybody has their reasons for dressing how they do...

Honestly, I find I do, but not by physical appearance, but how they take care of themselves. If they are wearing torn up shirts and jeans, their nails are dirty, their shoes are ripped, then....please forgive me for assuming this, but I'd assume they were a bum....either that, or they'd just been run over. Either way, I'd assume they weren't very bright. It wouldn't effect how I'd treat them though. It's just what I'd be thinking.

It depends...I mean when a person really stands out in a crowd, how could you not judge...But I am not really like that...maybe I will only think things and that is the farthest I would go

I admit that I have! Depends on the situation. I think self expression is great and I admire their courage! If I see a girl that's pretty I am one that would say what a pretty girl. I am not the jealous type. I guess I really don't judge others by the way they dress. I think only when they dress like a prostitute. If you have a nice body I don't see anything wrong with showing a little skin but some go far beyond the boundaries. I judge only for the reason I feel it sets a bad example for young girls. What I am trying to say is I feel they are using poor judgement. I hope that made sense!
