my boyfriend punched my friend for real because she said something out of line to him ...who's side am i supposted to be on?

yea but i knew him before i knew her and i love him plus what she said to him was really wrong i mean really,reall, wrong but she is cool and all i just dont know what to do

yea, if he had the balls to hit your friend just for saying something he didnt like, whos to say that he wont have the balls to hit you. any man who hits a female isnt a man...girls have no right to go off and hit guys either but sticking with a guy who hits females isnt a good path to take.

if she was say such nasty things about you...then you shouldnt be wondering what side you should be on...its neither! she apparently not your "friend" if shes saying nasty things about you,BUT...its is not his place nor is it right to hit a female. any guy willing to hit a girl once, wont have a problem doing it again. now if you want to put your self through that then go ahead, but dont be suprised if you say something he doesnt like one day and you get wacked.

There is never ever a good reason for a guy to hit a girl. Ever. I'm not saying that it's right for a girl to hit a guy though...just to throw that in there.

Even if you do chose your boyfriends side, fine, but you need to tell him that he can't do that. You need to talk to him about it. Has he ever hit anyone? Girl or guy? If he has a history of violance, then maybe you need to rethink what you are doing. Love is not worth the pain that comes with an abusive relationship...even though most of the time, the women never leaves because "she loves him".

Just make sure you know what you are doing. And DO NOT tell yourself that it is never going to happen to you. Don't let yourself fall to that level....he just showed you that he doesn't have a problem hitting a girl if he gets mad enough....why take the chance?

I tatally agree with what everybody is saying and I don't really know how to stress enouph that beating a woman.........or anybody for that matter is commpletly wrong and I hate poeple who do it because they don't care about what they are doing or that they are hurting poeple. They just do it my father was abusive to my mother when she was peregant with us(me and my sister) and she was lucky enouph to be able to get out. She says that one time she had a dream about our father and we weren't in it but there was that over wellming feeling that she had to protect us from him and so was so afraid of looseing us to him that she actually dreampt about it. But he had a lot of problems with drugs and other things and I just found out resently that I have two brothers out there that I have never even met. The oldest is named Lance and is probley old enouph to leave the house and the youngest is only about a year old and I don't know his name but he is about to be adopted so that is a good thing and I hope he gets a good home. Look... all I can say is you really need to get rid of him. Even if that's hard, you have to. Listen, if he's doing that to your friends, then chances are he's going to do that to you. Get rid of him before it's too late.... I am BEGGING you to listen to me.
