DO you feel like you have improved your poetry-skills since you began writing? |

I don't know if I am better, but I am happier with what I write and more willing to share it with others. |

Yes, for sure I believe I have improved greatly. I have been writing for a year or so, and at the start I wasn't writing poems. I had started to collect many poems I enjoyed in magazines etc. until I thought I would attempt to write a poem. From then on, I have been writing all the time. I am always full of ideas and ready to start new topics and themes. |

ya!! its really difficult to imagine that i actually wrote my older poems. my writing has definitely improved. i used to try so hard to rhyme that the poem was forced. but now, i write free verse and the poems have a better flow. in another year or so, my writing will probably have changed yet again. |

Just because something is published doesn't make it good. Really cool to get published though. :D Go you;) |

In some ways I think I have improved, but I think my writing still has yet a long way to go before I would dare to call it mature. |

By all means I have improved. It's kind of like my cake decorating skills...when I look at pictures of cakes I decorated when I first started learning and look at cakes I decorate now...wow, what a difference!! The same is true with my poetry. I started doing both around age 11. I have noticed as I mature, so does my poetry. My only problem now is finding the time to write. |
