2. It must be no longer than 16 lines
3. Only 1 poem per poet
4. No internet slang
5. Must be a 'Dark Poem'

You may use normal slang, explicit language and suicide/rape themes.
The winner/s will be decided on January 17th.

Nothing is fair
Nobody will care
Reality is twisted
In my world

It's cold and dark
Will you dare to disembark
Try to find your way
In my world

All you see when you look around
Is death and decay on the ground
It's full of evil
In my world

Can you get out of my world alive
Only the strong can survive
What will happen to you

Silent one

Silent one, why don't you speak?
is it the darkness you wish to seek?

no I've been there, saw it all
i have a voice it lies where darkness falls

oh silent one why don't you cry
cry for your loved ones that will all soon die

not i can't for it is i
that kills the loved and leaves them to die

silent one why don't you love
love like an angel from up above

no love, for no love will i give
for i am death that kills to live

oh silent one why don't you sleep
sleep in the night to see the day weep

no i can't for if i do
i will see that love is so very true

silent one why do you call
call me to my dark, scary hall

no you must come
when i leave you'll be numb

to die by your hand will bring a joyful cry

happy new year everyone

Death's rainbow

A white stranger holds a hand with grieve,
A black coffin is consumed by the ground,
A red rose sighs with relief,
The hush of grey death is the only sound,

A blue tear leaves an eye and burns with salt,
Bodies are covered in dark dress,
The mind of another blames with firey fault,
The priest gives words of god's brightest bless,

The streets begin to cry with inky tires and sharp screams,
The crimson blood on the girl's wrist is invisible to see,
Her dark dress hides the crimson beneath the seams,
This happened for him to find colours what he thought were free,

But it costs the most tears and pain of grey and black,
And this was his suicide with him hanging from a rope,
Although what hurts the most is that he won't be back,
We miss him so much all because he lost his coloured hope. . .

My heart speeds up,For the chance to slow down.
I shut my eyes,To see better ground.
If I hide my voice,
You won't have the choice,
To judge me from sound.

I run in circles,For the chance to escape.
Selling the soul,I pray you won't take.
Blurred as I see,
Confusion is me,
With identity raped.

Raising my arm,I reach out my hand.
Listen to and follow,Your every command.
I am your posession.
Your puppet of deception.
Now firm, but weakened I stand.

Trecherous thoughts:

Giving in for the temptation
to reach the realms of reality
finding a path to purity
and know the true sensation

Searching for the suffering
knowing what you'll find
the sweetness of peace of mind
From the fear of never ending

Treacherous is the cynical voice
chanting verses in you're head
forsaken, all that's good is dead
A silence extinguish the hypnotic noise

Vaguely you are waking up
from custody of life's construction
the consequence is self destruction
for ignorance you're signing up

I would like to press my point here MAXIMUM of 16 lines.

My dark curls
Rest on my face
My dreams collide
With murky water
Please
I don't need mercy
Just peace

And go to sleep

transparent grief

nobody will listen to your screams
when you're never right
just give up now
it's a hopeless fight
claw at the glass
until your hands are covered in blood
fall to the bottom
once you've had enough
you still can't escape
world of see-through misery
the tears that died
bled ever so visibly
and left behind trails
death's innocent remains
you cry harder when you see
the streaks down the glass panes

His Maple Of Unknown

No one understands the man, by the maple in the rain,

No one knows of his demise, his lengthened leap of pain,

No one even knows, of the desperate life he leads,

Or of the demons in his closet, for which his life he pleads.

No one knows his secret, his accomplice throughout life,

No one knows the tale, carved on his wrist with knives.

He hides from all humanity, unknown to even him,

No one hears the stories, or the bloody wrath of grim.

Deeper in his soul, nothing is to be found,

Fragments of his life, destroyed, and laid gently on the ground,

Dead beneath his blank eyes, no spark has been infused,

And through his life of misery, he lost all he could lose.

And as he soaks in all the wet, mysterious and pained,

He dies one of his thousand deaths, beneath the maple in the rain.

Well heres my only shorter one

Battle Ground

The battle starts, the war has begun.
Take your sides, let the damage be done.
Weapons grasped in skeletal hands,
Each side of the battle has made their demands.
The blood is spilled as black and white,
Tainted and pure; an ugly sight.
Harmonies mix to a piercing screech,
The smell of sour roses is in reach.
One by one they all fall down,
Blood mixing grey, sinking in the ground.
The lost souls are captured from the blood they shed,
Black or white, in the battle of the dead.

DANGEROUS FUN

Another night in cold deceit
Another body torn
Another lust has been fulfilled
Another demon born

Another rape of fragile soul
Again it’s leather-bound
Another fantasy comes true
The victims make no sound

Another fight that holds no hope
Another heartless kill
Another day I’m satisfied
Now that I’ve had my fill

The Boy Who Loved

There was once a boy who loved
He was happy and joyful
He had everything he wanted
He was in love with the most beautiful girl

But one day that all changed
She got into a car accident
She died because she got hit by drunk drivers

After that day the boy stopped loving
He had no feeling of happiness
He started to see everything as wicked

He began to hate everyone
Life didn't feel like living anymore
And so, the boy who loved
Took his own life

Murder in a warehouse

A girl was walking home alone,
as a tall man walked by.
Her legs turned to stone,
she was scared but didn't know why.

He put his hand over her mouth,
and dragged her along.
As he headed south,
he hummed a merry song.

He took her to a warehouse,
and slammed the door shut.
He walked around her silently as a mouse,
then punched her in the gut.

She was too terrified to fight back,
her body shaking with fright.
He turned round to attack,
His fists clenched tight.

He hit her again,
she wanted to shout.
Her body hurt with pain.
What was this about?

He bound her up with rope,
as she began to cry.
She couldn't feel no hope,
he was going to let her die.

He punched and kicked her,
then she began to bleed.
This became a murder as he did the final deed.

He turned and smiled at her,
then shot her in the head,
all she saw was ablur,
and sadly she was dead.

The phone rang late one night,
I couldn't believe my ears.
They said my love was hit by a car,
And I exploded into tears.

They rushed her to the hospital,
That's where I seen her.
I wanted to take her pain away,
I wanted to be the cure.

They said she wasn't conscious,
But I knew she heard me.
I told her everything would be okay,
As I prayed upon my knees.

I sat beside her for two days,
Waiting for her to open her eyes
So we could talk one more time,
And she could watch the sun rise.

The doctor came and said it's time,
They said sorry but it's true.
Its time to pull the plug on her,
It was the only thing to do.

So I said please let me,
It's the least that I could do.
Baby rest in peace I'll be there soon,
And don't ever forget that I'll always love you.
