Metal Music

I am 100% addicted to hardcore music (SlipKnoT, Dying Fetus, Lamb of God, etc.) and I just want to know if anyone else here is the same way...

I have only heard of slipknot and i luv them! There music is fantastic. But i luv alot of bands, seriously music is my life. ACDC is also another good band. SO is Ateryu and System of a down. Amazing shite!

I cannot stand slipknot and that kind of metal. I am more into old thrash...Old Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Kreator...

And some black/death metal too...Enslavement of Beauty (hence my nick) Borknagar, My Dying Bride, Opeth, Skyfire...

and good old rock of course...deep purple, pink floyd, zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc

^^ Metallica and Pink Floyed are also really good bands. I listen to them alot, more of Metallica though. The other ones i have never heard of sadly. Got any recemadations out of those?

I love it all, the new and the old stuff. A few of my favorites are Korn, Disturbed, Sevendust, CKY, Trust Company, Cradle of Filth, Slayer, Otep, and Coal Chamber.

I don't really like metal. at all. too many power chords. Slipknot sucks, but I love how much energy the drummer puts out during any performance. And the drummer from AC/DC now lives in New Zealand? They were okay. 80s metal band.."Big Balls" is hi-larious. and "Highway to Hell" worked really well for Little Nicky. Machine Head rocks. and you gotta admire the guitarist from Slayer for always playing downstring.

I F'ing love metal though, my favorite bands being Disturbed and Slipknot (yes to you anti-Slipknot people I like Slipknot and you can't do anything about it so ha)

only metal bands i like are korn and godsmack...and i dont even know if thats metal...but my two favorite bands are motion city soundtrack and godsmack...im weird like that...though i will take punk rock over metal anyday...shh dont tell my boyfriend lmfao

I only listen to power metal. I hate death metal and all that crap metal like 'slipknot' or 'korn'. I don't even call that metal. Metal is more like Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Gamma Ray, Accept, and Black Sabbath.

i lot a lot of different weird and random genres, but metal is certainly of my favorites. i like bands like cradle of filth, norma jean, as i lay dying, devildriver, atreyu, black dalhia murder, slipknot, the chariot, type o negative, tool, and kittie..among others.
