sweet 16

hey every 1 i just turned 16 on monday and i am having my party on saturday well all my friends are saying that they cant come they have plans well my family is doing it now 2 only there saying they dont have the gas its so annoying and it makes me mad b/c i go 2 the stuff they have all the time and i only turn 16 once in my life , and you'd think they would care i dno i just really need someone's opinion am i wrong for feeling this way or am i right someone please help me!!! Yeah mine wasn't too great either. I had 2 friends say happy birthday out of everybody. And I only got 2 cards from my fanily, 1 from my mum and dad, one from my two brothers and one from my aunty. Bearing in mind I have a really big family (3 aunties and 2 uncles on my mums side, millions of cousins and a grandparent, 2 aunties and more cousins on my dads side), yet no one acknowledged my birthday. Not even my 2 older brothers and sisters (2 sisters and 1 brother hates my dad, other brother just didnt bother to even call) so yeah I pretty much know how you feel!

i am sorry to hear about what is going on but i would like to wish you a happy 16 b-day... you only go through it once so try not to get to depressed...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Yeah, my 16th borthday was in febuary, and I was going to have this big party with my friends. But funny thing is my aunt and cousin decided to come down from New York so I had to celebrate it with my family. It wasn't all that bad, I love my aunt and cousin to death so it was fun. But the thing is i was suppose to have my actual birthday party tomorrow, funny thing is both my parents are really really sick. So once again I can't have it. Dunno when or if i will. Which is a bummer but thats okay I guess.

Alot of people never celebrated their 16th birthdays, but I don't know I think that just hanging out with them is good enough i guess. But you know its not always to late to celebrate it after. Heck my birthday was more then a month ago and i'm still gonna throw a party for it even if I have to wait another month. SO its never to late. Don't feel sad, you can always throw it some random weekend and thats a birthday you'll always remember...

I didn't even have a sweet 16, didn't really want one either, because I knew that if I decided to have a party I would get stressed about it and nothing would turn out right. So I just had a small family party with about two friends, and then after that we ended up going to a club, so I managed to have fun withought planning it. Try to just not stress about it, and be spontaneous about it or something. I dunno.

Ok, so your 16th was (or will be) bad.. but try the 21st.. your 21st birthday will matter a lot. Aswell as your 18th.. just the 16th, 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, etc..

I myself hate birthdays because .. meh not many people like me so I don't celebrate it much besides with my family..

congratulations on ur sweet 16...but if ur friends arent going cuz they have other things to do...well then they arent true friends. dont wrry about them, they arent worth it. i know when my friends turned 16 i did wutever it took to be wit them...dont wrry! take care and keep in touch

yup i figured that out lol i was like you know what its my party and i am not gonna stress over it and i actually had tons and tons of fun with my friends that did come so it all turned out good. :)

Tee hee I'm posting again. Just wanted to say.

I'm finally having my 16th B'day party tomorrow. lol! Even thought my b'day was in Feburary. Oh well better late then never I suppose! =D
