    ^^ Totally awesome thread! =D

If your bangs are oily looking then wet the strands a bit and out a tiny dag of shampoo on you fingers and gently stroke it through you hair. Then take a little bit of more water and stroke downwards again, it'll get rid of the greasy look.

For eye shadow never just use one color. Its always best to mix tow or three colors. You put a base coat on of a lighter shade then apply a darker shade on top. Make sure you do this gradually and evenly.

Also put a shade under your eye. Just half way from the outside of your eye, going inwards. Its best if you have black eyeliner of and you put the eye shadow color right underneath it. Gives your eyes some depth and they stand out.

I can't remember the last time I bought eyeliner... About 2 years ago I got this HUGE kit in the store of a lot of different shades of eye shadow. The make-up was cheap and the eyeshadow wasn't very good, so Now i take a thin flat edged brush, wet it down a bit and swipe it over a couple different shades of eyeshadow, and then i just apply it like eyeliner! It stays 10 times better, and works like a charm for smokey eyes!

Hey Sunny, your tip about the pantyhose is really good. I learnt it in ballet. I mean, you would after a five-days a week session of ballet for one year.
If you have to wash something, but want it to dry soon, then wrap it in a thick toil, fold the towel over longways and twist it into a long knot, with one person twisting oen way, and another twisting the other, until the towel won't budge any further. This helps to absorb the moisture.

If you have oily skin it sometimes help to mix milk and salt into a paste, then plaster this mixture onto your face. Wait til it dries then rinse off. It smells a bit when the milk starts to go off with the salt, but it can remove some of the oil from your skin.

If you can't be bothered to scrub your nails, and no matter what you do they just collect dirt and you need them to look nice for an evening, paint them with a dark nail polish. Okay, unhigienic, but it works.

I heard that rinsing your mouth in baking soda helps fight bad breath, but I haven't had the guts to verify that yet.
