my brother should read this. he really thinks his girlfriend likes everything he likes. i try to tell him she complains behind his back because she's too nice to do it to his face, but he won't listen. i guess i got all the good genes in the family. ha ha

Be spontaneous: dinner and a movie won't always cut it.

One day i woke up and thought... Skydiving... memories of her squeell like a litle girl, quite like watching a horror movie in the theaters. Stories for the grand children. Me 'the gentleman' with my arms wrapped around her, soothing her insucurities, telling her "everything will be alright", quoting some unknown person.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO, What a Ride!”

In my mind. If she dissaproves, well that doesn't matter, shes tied to me, there is no escape ;o).

4 oclock in the morning we're 500 kilometers in the air. We're all geared up she's strapped to me ready for a tandem dive. The hatch opens she FREAKS, her jaw drops to the ground, followed by one of the quietist screams ever (thank god for that temporary deafening thing that happens to your ears at low air pressure), shortly after *SMACK*. I awake sometime later, we're on the ground, and i have one of the most painstaking headaches ever. Spontaneous indeed.

Personally the simple things are always the best. I'm sure she agrees too. A home cooked dinner, to candle lights and soft music. As for movies, a 10.2 surround sound home theater room, her favorite DVD... perfect. Of course the occasional restaurant meal and cinemas doen't hurt. Mind you if she wanted to watch something in the movies, it's not like i'm her only friend.

But let me ask you this. If the movie is less entertaining that originally thought and your motive for enter the theater takes a detour. Why settle trying to make out uncomforably on those seats. Trying to keep the noise down so you won't desturb the other patrons. Mind you, by making out i mean just kissing anything more is just wrong and disgusting in my opinion. If we're home with a DVD we can just press pause, go up stairs, the bed... and there lies ENDLESS possibilites within endless comfort. ;o)

ok. thats a long story, but it sort of contradicts what she said. however, personally, i think skydiving is a little TOO spontaneous. [actually, it's WAY too spontaneous] something simpler, like random flowers, or a candlelight dinner in the park,will work. just a few suggestions. it doesn't need to be HUGE! little things are nice, if you take a little bit of effort to surprise her.

Ok, so I looked at the list, and I thought there were a few things that I didn't like at all. I'll discuss after. I decided to write my own list, in retaliation of what you wrote. This is my version, so you won't find this anywhere. This is also my opinion so if you don't like it, or disagree, I'm very happy for you. This was meant to be funny with a possibility of truth behind it. .. Enjoy!

I honestly hate the fact that we have to say we're sorry for something we didn't do. That's sacrificing pride, and that's something we are not willing to give up that easily. Yes, we care about you, but if we let you walk all over us, by making us apologize for something we didn't do, then we're gonna be upset.
