A Tarnished Mirror

Violently scratching at my hysterical pale reflection
Screaming with annoyance when blood doesn't appear
Staring plaintively at every defect and imperfection
Fiery hatred burns into pupils, black trickles in salty tears..

Staring into a tarnished mirror, staring at another me
Hiding away beneath layers of slaughtered, damaged skin
Lays a soul trapped within, it cannot escape, cannot be free
Slowly forming solid fists, my perplexed head starts to spin..

Silently pounding a stained mirror, I split into pieces
Crimson pain runs from my fists, cracks in me finally show
A perfect life crumbling to the ground, a soul it releases
Magic within me flows away, a remedy you did bestow..

Ghosts Don't Cry

Walking around, aimless, lost in the crowd.
Trying to be heard, but the noises are so loud.
After a long day, coming home to fights,
Not getting a word in edgewise; lonely nights.

Welcome to my life, I'm only a ghost,
Not noticed by many, ignored by most.
Often want to break down, and want to die,
Or cry my eyes out, but ghosts don't cry.

Finally a little freedom, out with friends,
But ignored by you, the pain never ends.
Love shown one way, yet hate the other,
Then the time comes to see my mother.

I see her only a little, yet important I'm not,
Complaining and yelling, making cheeks hot.
Talking to her boyfriend for an hour it seems,
Actually spending time with HER is just a dream.

Welcome to my life, a ghost I'll remain,
Many ignore me, many don't know my name.
Often I want to break down, but when I try,
I recall that one thing, ghosts don't cry.

lost little girl

Buring hot tears destroying the poor girls face,
still, dead inside she looks a disgrace,
the capture of sadness has reeled her in by a hook,
there is no fairytale ending to this depressing book,
heart beating heavily with the painful lump in her throat,
making her way silently to the door, she picks up her coat,
a tearful walk with pain slowing down her unused feet,
she feels like shes blind with the tears bloking what she sees,
this pain cant be contained like this any more,
her tears are bleeding, her heart is tore,
so she walks, until she reaches the river,
the smell of the air gives her a shiver,
she reminices of the stupid things shes done,
falling into the river she thinks,
there...... another girl gone

Silently walking this path
an empty shell
that has forgotten how to laugh

the perfect figure
yet the most pitiful sight
shoulders hunched, deadly white

morning dew slides down her cheeks
her hair in her face
rosey lips no longer sweet

she is cut and bruised
ragged clothes upon her back
one eye blue, one black

could this breath be her last?
will she meet with death?
will all the lies be her past?

lost in a forest
surrounded by all these trees
her home she will leave

looks forward to a future
one thats less bleaker?
what other choice does she have?

Tears glide across cheeks
Destroying perfect makeup
Cutting into skin..

Pain fills her insides
Drowning a delicate heart
Black tears smother lungs..

Wildwood Flower

Beneath night I confide,
On sheets thin to hold ink,
Scrawled in minute stains.
Neglected wildwood flower,
Pale petals drawn into center,
Not knowing how long it lay,
Dying on torn sketchbook page,
Or when it first bloomed bright.

Beneath night I confide,
On mind chained, weighed down.
The cold air touching my lungs,
Freezing an out stretched hand,
Dropped into life’s empty pocket.
Blue lips whisper an icicle apology,

Rain

The rain drips slowly on the softened window pane
The pitter-patter makes me remember again.

One year ago, we got into that car
But somehow, we never got very far

While driving along down a long, dark street
Your car and the tree just happened to meet

So as you slid out of control, your memories flashed
You had no idea that it would be her last

Holding onto the wheel as you tried to grasp
All that escaped from your mouth was a hollowed gasp

Swerving to the left and sliding to the right
You weren't sure if your were gonna see the next night

Holding onto a prayer, a hope, and a dream
Things are never what they seem

But you came out of the wreck alive
But you would never forget what you left behind

Because sitting in the seat was the body of a girl
Who just had her last ride in this world

You never knew that she was sitting there dead
You were more concerned about your throbbing head

So now you see what what rain can do
When you're driving too fast and drinking too

I shut my eyes and try to get rid of the pain
But I will never be able to hold you again

I should've gotten out of that car when I could
But you should've been sober like you knew you should

So sitting by your window pane
Is the only time I can look in your eyes again

For I'll float away and might never return
So I hope this lesson is one that you'll learn

Driving that way, you will never do again
Because you never know what might have been

Floating in the rain as I look for something whole
Reduced to nothing but this floating soul

Swimming around, everywhere, blood sets, displaced,

With a difficult decision you are faced.
Push harder, deeper, more, let your heart resound.
Decide your fate quickly, enjoy the taste.
Listen gently to your screams fall to the ground.
Piece by piece, taste by taste, you'll eat your flesh,
Falling deep within a sleep; your final rest.

Feast upon flesh, so delicate and great,
Breaking skin by teeth - smell the smell so strong,
Cannibalism is your scrumptious fate.
Blood dripping down your face; this can't be wrong,
Looking up at victims with utter hate
For their flesh in your mouth is where it belongs.
Lying around you are skin and broken bones,
Laugh as you break the flesh; hear their final moan.

Can the feelings ever be found and forever last?
This is my hope,
This is my need,
O God please answer my prayers,
Please hear my pleas,
I need my soul and heart to be complete.
It is my wish,
It is my want,
With it I can finally be free.
To feel loved at last,
And not just dwell on what has past,
My heart is slowly falling apart,
Please save me from the haunting dark!
Love, my light still has not been found,
I will hope and look until I can no longer utter any sound...

The crimson flow
from the lifeless song
that lay dead upon the floor.
No hope was left
inside this shell
where once the blood was stored.
It dipped it's head
in pain's caress
with hungry hands it pried.
Up from the depths
of hell's own breath
To feast on her insides.
Distant thoughts
of insanity's rot
Have consumed her desire
And left her broken
her words unspoken
to burn in Hell's own fire.
A crimson stain is all
that can be recalled
by those who swore they knew
The girl who dwelled
In living hell
What ever else was she to do.
With gun in hand
She takes her stance
Then she feels the shot
Now just a stain
Is what remains
Of what her heartache brought.

The sparkling blade
The moon light glitter
The way she will use it
Is sour and bitter

She lays on the grass
To do one thing
To get away from the pain
That this world brings

As she plunges it down
Toward her heart
She remembers all the pain
That caused her to fall apart

The hole becomes deeper
And the blood pours out
This is finally the end
As she gives one last shout

Her lifeless body
Lying all alone
No one to find her
Her name is unknown

Within

Driving down this empty road, the pain within takes control.
Confuse by what I saw, the anger within started to talk.
Trying to push away my thoughts, and not believe the little voice inside me.

Rain started hitting my windshield like rocks, and the voice within wouldn't stop. He is cheating on you and you are his fool, with every thought I knew what had to do.

Pulling up in his garage I notice new red car, now rage set in cause this car belongs to my best friend. Should I go inside or should I wait, I just stand outside in the rain contemplate.

The voice within begin to say make them pay, but my heart said walk away. Listening to my heart I turn and headed back to the car but that voice said catch them be smart.

Crying as hard as the rain that was falling the voice within said stop stalling. I went to his door and took out the key I use so many times before.

I quietly enter the house and immediately I notice the lights was out. Sweet melodies fill the front room and two glasses appear to be use. As I got closer all I could hear is Tony, Tony, and Tony in my ears.

She was on top of him riding real slow and he was kissing her like he kissed me before. Now flames fill my eyes and the room was full of smoke all I remember was the voice within said you better go.

Days had past in on the news it was said, that a Tony Vega and a Lisa Styles was found dead. The voice within said don't worry because I tie up all our loose ends, and I'm your only true friend.

Oh the voice within

i'm in this deep depression

you'll never see a single tear shed
in public my pain turns to dust
but no matter what i lead you to believe
inside i am crying silently
for i know if things keep going this way
my nightmare will become my reality

The Awn

I am at the awn of your blade
Waiting for the blood to flow
As I start to fade,
I get hit with a killing blow

I had been causing you affliction
Some way or another
You had an addiction
Like none other

I thought I had been suffering
Because of your frigid heart
Apparently you had done nothing
That you would take part

I had wanted to run my blade through you
Before you ran yours through me
You could start life anew
In a world and land of glee

So as I am lying here,
Wondering what I did

And bring it down upon my head

The Accident

They told me not to do it. to stay home all lonely.
they told me they forbid it, that him i couldn't see.
but it didn't matter, they weren't controlling me.
i had to get outside, i had to just be free.

i snuck out my window. alone with a small light.
and as i moved i disappeared, into the dark night
no stars were out, the moon was faded.
when i saw his lights i knew i had made it.

we saw a movie together, had a wonderful time
in fact it was so much fun it should be a crime.
i knew my parents were wrong so we got in the car
and after this first date, i knew we would go far.

he stopped the car and i thought that there was something wrong. but when he stopped the care he put romantic music on. he got on me but i struggled, i pushed him far aside. i said please dont touch me all i needed was this ride.

he got all mad but kept on driving. and really i was scared. he starting really speeding up. and i was not prepared. and the last thing i remembered, before my dark blackout. was the shining light of a car and the drivers giving a shout.

i woke up in the hospital bed and was in a lot of pain. i asked the nurses whaqt happened, and to me they did explain. the other car was totaled, passengers, none would live. and my driver also died and would have no breath to give.

so i cried in my bed and i pulled one nurse aside. i asked for a small favor. just one before i died. please apologize to my parents for me, because no ones alive. she said she cant, i asked why not. she said my parents were in the other car and now no one will have survived.

Find me in the bushes

Once upon a day
A girl was wearing white
with soft petals on her head

*Fallen from grace*

Hands cupped around her face
She weakly falls to the ground
Shes an angel thats fallen from grace
Slowly, without making a sound

No one saw it coming
Even now they just dont see
Her pain was so numbing
And all she wanted was to be free

She laughed and joked
Plastered on that fake smile
But on her tears she choked
She knew she could only hold on for a while

Tell her why she feels like this
Why shes always sad and down
When her life was meant to be bliss

So on the ground this angel will wait

beating faintly

a familiar truth

This halloween day

The trick or treaters are now all home
tucked away in their comfortable beds
she looks outside as something glides by
"i wonder who is out this late?"
she says to herself as she goes to her door
a cat gives a shriek and runs off in the alley
now here heart is racing she gets to the door
as she grips the knob the doorbell rings
she jumps and gives a scream
but now worried she looks out the peek hole
not seeing anyone she locks the door and steps away
a sudden chill goes up her back as if she is not alone
she looks about but no one is around
she then hears her name called from the top of the stairs
she sends a quiet yes, that roughly comes out
and again she is beckoned but go, she will not
she goes to the phone but the line is dead
the voice of her husband is heard
he was lost many years ago
now she is scared so she goes into the hall
she lifts the switch but nothing comes on
the power out and now the soft patter of rain falls
she begins to worry not knowing what to do
"I've got a gun" she shouts hoping that will get rid of it
"ahh but I've got my fangs" comes a cry she dreads
"ghost and goblins and creatures with fangs
are not true" she shouts to the stair way
now sitting on the couch he touches her hair
"i can hear your pulse racing, please come sit."
"no i will not, for you are not here"
"but i am and i feel a bit cold
won't you come and warm me up"
she turns to see who she feared
with a ghost white face she begins to cry
"i thought you left me, but you are dead
how can you be here messing with my head?"
"i came back to claim my wife
so come close so i may take your life"
she gives him a hug and he touches her neck
"please don't cry for i want you to die"
she looks at him with fear in her eyes
and lays her neck back for him to drink
"now my wife we will stay together for always
because of this Halloween Day."

An hour ago...

I see shadows moving around,
But nothing appears quite the same.

It's so dark in here,
Why doesn't anyone turn on the light?
What time is it now?
I thought we just finished breakfast.
Please answer me... Someone.

I remember walking in the park...
Just after my morning coffee.
I remember it was a clear blue sky.
I strolled along the thick green grass,
And watching the children play.

On my way back home,
A car ran a red light and struck me.
I remember so many people around me,
Asking if I was alright.
I remember telling them that I'm o.k.,
Stood back up and walking back home.

That was an hour ago...
I know my eyes are as wide as they can be,
But why can't I see?
What is happening to me?
Why is everything so dark and grey?

Life was full of colors and joy only yesterday,
Now it's dark and cold.
Why did this happen to me?
Images now exists only from my memories,
... just less then an hour ago.
My life...
Will never be the same...
Anymore.

"Just a little blood"

She sits and thinks about the meaning of life,
She can't even feel her wrist touching the knife.
"Just a little blood" she thinks in her mind,
As the blood poars, pain and tears are combined.
"This pain is better than any other pain",
she says to herself when it shoots through every vein.
She grabbes a towel and puts it over the voom,
This is her end, this is her doom.
Her sight is weakened, she going blind,
As she thinks to herself, she doesn't really mind.
Her death is unimportant, no one will care,
"They won't even notice, I was never even there",
A wet and shiny tear falls down her cheek,
As everything goes black, some words she tries to speak.
She forces the words forward as her final last breath,
"Just a little blood" she says, "will lead to my death"
