Strange thoughts....

Okay, I know that I think differently than most people, but I was wondering, what are some fierce wonderings that you have? or what are somethings that sound/seem weird? For example, have you ever thought about how weird feet are? or How weird it is to sit and watch a box with a moving picture on it (AKA TV)? So what are some fierce wonderings or strange ideas or thoughts about anything that you have?

I don't understand why we find it fun to chuck a ball into the air and hope it goes through a ring...and when it's fun for guys to touch other guys when they wrestly, but it's considered like a really manly sport.. It just doesn't make sense to me, even though i'm obsessed with Basketball, haha

"What happens in the event that figure 'A' is attracted to figure 'B' and wants to get married. But figure 'A' is already married to figure 'C' and figure 'B' is engaged to figure 'D' but figure 'A' can't keep his hands of figure 'B' because she's got such a great figure."

I always thought about this one line from the movie Everafter....It goes somthing like this;

"Then let's say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you're supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?"

I don't think anyone has thought about that line more than me....lol

Some other things that are weird to me:
~The word "Bruise" is really weird...after saying it a few times it no longer sounds like a word.
~The fact that we idol celebrities....that's weird too.
~The way some people in one place pronounce things differently than other people in a different place. (For example, Utahns say"Mou'in" rather than "Mountain" like the rest of the world. And the way westerners say "wader" rather than "water.")
~Why many people are fascinated by stars.
~Why we take pleasure in rollercoasters.

Those are just a few more of my weird thoughts....I'll post more later....if I find time (Oh thats another thing....the phrase "Find time." Where is time? Is it lost? Why do I have to find it? It's weird)

~weed is a weird word

~How is it one careless match can start a

~How do you know when a Smurf
suffocates?
~If you get plastic surgrey on your bag is it called a plastic bag?

Kit Kat Katie ^^^^ I am a wrestler and feel the need to defend my sport. I do not understand why when people think wrestling (real wrestling) their mind immediately goes to guys touching each other. To me that seems as if that person is uncomfortable with their sexuality. We don't think of it that way because we know that is not what the sport is. To be a wrestler takes a level of determination and perseverance that is unnecessary in many other sports. I do various sports and a six minute wrestling match is more physically demanding than any other sport I have ever experienced. Wrestling is about pride and proving something to yourself and sometimes others. Maybe you just have to be part of the sport to understand it. (I'm not trying to start an argument)

Yea, I dont think about guys touching eachother when I think wrestling. Guess Im just weird like that if thats how everyone who doesnt wrestle thinks.

Um some other things I think about:

~Why do we wear rings to show we are married?
~Why do we wear rings at all?
~Why do we hide from the rain if we shower every day (hopefully at least once every two days)?
~If we're mostly made of water, why do we burn easily?
~Who invented superstition?
~Why do signs in public places say "SHIRT AND SHOES REQUIRED"? I mean don't they want people to wear pants too?
~Why do we decorate a tree for Christmas?
~Why do we use a pine tree for that^?
~Why do we lose most of our body heat through our feet, if hot air rises, shouldn't we lose it trough out heads?
~Why is the heart the symbol of love?
~Why do we call it an "eggplant" if there is not egg in it?
~Why are people so afraid of ghosts?
~Why do we spell "Why" like that?
~Who decided that the "?" would make a sentence a question?
~What about the "!"? Who decided that one?
~Why do we have different countries? If we're all one world, can't we be on big country?
~Why is it called a "Palm tree"? It doesn't fit in my palm?
~What's the difference between an emporer (sp) and a king?
~Who decided who the first ruler of England was going to be?
~What is with the Bermuda Triangle?
~If we say triangle, then why don't we say "Quadanlge"?
~Why do we say "hop in the shower" or "hop to it" if we really don't hop at all while doing it?
~Phones are weird, we talk into a little plastic box and someone miles and miles away can hear us...weird isn't it?
~If everyone is so worried about pollution then why does everyone still drive everywhere?
~Why is everyone so afraid of global warming?
~Why do we wear jewlery?
~At school, why do we respond to a bell? We're like robots or soemthing.

The m & m's symbols on the candy can be moved to form the words "we" or "me" so you can either share or not. coincidence, i think not

Agreed with icarus on wrestling . When I say I wrestle, people always stare at me weird because I`m a now fourteen year old girl with a ballerina`s figure . Give me a break .

Are we really 'humans' ? What does it mean to be human ? Are our lives predestined or is it like a board game; Take one turn and you`r future goes to this . Take the other road and it`s something else ?

Oh yea, i've always had this one thought like what if there was nothing?

like no world, no earth, no universe, no God, no nothing.

like all that exists was NOTHING....

but what would that look like, you know? its nothing.

Ive always wondered philosophical things.....
my biggest thought has always been, where does the universe stop? i mean, does it really go on FOREVER, or does it just *bam* stop at some point? and then what? i mean, it cant just stop, right? but i mean it cant just keep on going!!!!! that's impossible, right? or at least unfathomable. it actually makes me quite distressed sometimes because it's so complex that i can't fully wrap my mind around it, and there's no way i can find out. i mean, what would it look like if it just went on forever? and if it stopped, would there be anything after that? is the universe just a little thing INSIDE of another, like the earth is with the solar system? or is there just a, like, wall or something where it's like 'hi, you've reached the end of the universe. please carefully make a u-turn, or feel free to buy a souvenir! thank you.'
i mean really. it makes me get anxious. so i gotta stop thinking about it now.

another one i often have is, if there is a god, where is he? i mean yeah, sure, heaven, ok, but where's heaven? is it in with the clouds? is it chillin in the universe, NEXT TO the earth? is it all around us? and how big is it? how big is GOD? and why isn't there an ESCALATOR to heaven? i mean that would be a lot of stairs to climb!!!!!!! would they have rest stops if it was a staircase? and is there really a judgment day, or do you immediately go to heaven or hell as soon as you die? who wrote the bible? and was jesus really the son of god or was he just some loony who thought he was? and why does everyone [well, people] believe the bible? we have no proof... we don't even have any idea who wrote it!!! there could be some dead guy right now like 'OMG yeah dude that prank is STILL going strong after 2000 years! man! we're better than ashton!!!!!"

and i cant wrap my brain around the whole concept of internet, either. but i wont even start to think about that.

oh but one more, i wonder, how does our body know that pain is bad? i mean, some people like pain, so im wondering, does it have to do with upbringing? if you raise a baby to like the feeling of pain and associate it with joy, will pain be fun for them, or will they be able to tell that they don't like it? could you train your mind to enjoy the feeling of being hurt? or would your body still know that its not a good thing?????
psychology amazes me, actually.

^That ashton part was funny. And another thing, think about time. Sure, we can measure it, but we can't see it, or hear it, or feel it... anything. So how do we know it's there? How did people develop the concept of time to measure?

I'm a girl and I wrestle, that is being sexist like my coach USED to be about girls and how a lot of people are about girls in wrestling, I find that offensive

^ Ive thought about that a lot.....the way we speak and make sounds and the way other people in other languages do the same, but yet we cant understand their sounds.

Its weird how we gather together to run horse hairs over a thin metal wire attached to a box to make sounds (orchestra class). First off, the orchestra instruments are really weird. Little cruvy boxes that have four strings to make sound. Also, whats with the horse hair? Who came up with that? Who tested it? Why that shape? My teacher tells us a little story about how a guy fell madly in love with a beautiful woman and wanted to play her music. To show his love he made a love song and crafted his instrument after her figure. Anyway, why do we do that in groups? We sit and read little dots and lines and make music....

Also math class....we gather together to look at little symbols. We make sense of them (or try to). And we put the little symbols together and get something totally different. Also how certain equations always work. Like pieRsquared.....whats with that?

Another thing...lunch time always confuses me. While I sit at lunch or stand in line, I cant help but think how weird it is that we gather in a big room to eat. Why do we do that together? Cant we do it alone?

Also, what is with the country division? All the curvey lines....so many borders....so many different cultures....so many languages. Its so weird.
