Harry Potter Predictions

What do you think will happen in the seventh and final book of Harry Potter? Do you fear it will be disappointing? What would make it disappointing? I can't wait for the release! Ah!

The only way it will be disappointing will be the acknowledgement that after this one, that's it. The series is over. Other than that:

There are a lot of theories. I don't believe a lot of them. Though Snape will probably most likely you should really prepare for him to die.

Draco will do something extremely bad,
but then end up betraying Voldemort and muddying our views of him again.

And that's as much as I'm touching.

I think that Ron will die, sirius will come back to life (or maybe he never really died seeing as he did just go behind a mirror) i don't think that dumbledore will come back to life though and i don't think that snape is evil and i think he will end up dying saving harry's life. oh and i think that dumbledore asked snape to kill him through mind reading as he knew he was going to die from the poison anyway.

1. Herminie will perfect a potion called erectus humungus and will retire after putting viagra out of business

2. Harry Potter will defeat everyone evil but will be typecast as a geek until he rises back to prominance in Al Pacino's scarface two

3. Hagrid Ron and dumbledore open party pill online retail site with mixed success

4.Rons owl is found dead stuffed up snapes butt. Not sure what this had to do with the story line but someone had to die

I heard that in the last book everyone is going to die at one point, but then i also heard that after this book she might do an 8th just to have a book after the year they are out of school. so there fore she cant kill all of them,

I'm pretty sure there won't be an 8th.

And my prediction for the 7th one is that Harry will die at the end of it. He'll probably die as a hero for some reason.

^ I agree. If Harry dies, though, Voldemort will also have to die. I think it's possible. Heroes die young... it lets them escape from the mundanity of decline and old age. : )

Dumbledore is my personal hero, but I don't think he can come back. He went the way of the threshhold guardian - Harry needs to act on his own.

I really doubt she'd kill off Ron or Hermione... for some reason, I think they're safe, as the sidekicks. Unless, Rowling used one of their deaths to catapult Harry into action... but then, I think he already has enough impetus for that.

Well didn't Rowling once say that she didn't want anyone else to use the character of harry potter. . .Well what better way of doing so than killing him? lol

Plus there's the whole thing of the horux's. . .well they always said there was some of voldemort in harry so maybe he's another horux. . . . So he has to die to kill voldemort. . . Thats what i bet will happen. . .

in the 5th book when mrs weasly is clearing out the Blacks house, she finds a locket that she canot open
also they say Regulus [A.] Black was killed by voldemort but they also said that he was not important enough to be killed by him
so he could still be alive
and could have distroyed the horcrux

Anyways i dont think Harry, Ron or Hermionie will all live. But some people will die.

Rowling hinted that they'll be mroe on Lilly...

Anyways i am looking forward to this book. But unfortunately on that EXACT day, i have to go London becuasse of a wedding!! Tut!! So im planning on going to get it in the morning and read it oon the journey. And whenever i have time im London read it. Hehe..

Isn't dumbeldore (how ever you spell his ridiculous name) die in the sixth book? I've heard the Malfoy kills him. Then runs away at Snapes command.

Jrr tolkien is my favorite, i started reading the hobbit and the lord of the rings when i was in like 5th grade and i have loved them ever sience
but about harry potter, ny guess is either sirius or dumbledore will come back somehow...

Snape will die In Harry's arms after taking out the last Horcrux, which will mostly likely be the snake pet.

We will learn that when Dumbledore said "please" to Snape twice on the school roof, he was using telepathy to beg him to finish him off, so Snape would be trusted by Voldermort enough that he could help Harry at the end.

Bill weasley and Remus Lupin will kill Fenrir Greyback.

Ron and Hermoine, obviously will get together, most likely in a rush as they face death...it will be a funny scene I think.

Malfoy will be rescued by Harry, and they will fight together against someone, but not Voldermort, maybe Bellatrix.

Harry will have a long conversation with Dumbledores Headmaster Potrait at Hogwards.

Harry will die killing Voldomort, and the last scene, the last page will be about him finally being reunited with his parents...

Neville Longbottom will kick serious ass, and I think, will become an Auror.

Rowling did confirm that there will most definetly not be an 8th book but the 7th book will give thorough details of what happens to all the surviving characters at the end of the book.
Tolkien may have written his own language but JKRowling invented a whole universe of spells, magically animals and if you really think about it there would have been a lot of effort and many sleepless nights not to mention years and years of hard work into making harry potter what it is today
if anyone wants to find out some interesting theories and interesting things about harry potter go to mugglenet.com one of my favourites was in the 4th book it says how dumbledore has a gleam of triumph in his eyes when harry talks about voldemort being risen..many people think dumberdore has two parts one being evil or that he is evil entirely but personally i refuse to believe it.

Er, maybe. I imagine the "gleam of triumph" in Dumbledore's eye was more at the thought that now that Voldemort is corporreal again, there is a better chance that he can actually be killed. a 'victory' on horizon moment.

Harry won't die. Harry's too stubborn to die.

Regulus died 6 months after betraying the death eaters in 1981, but sombody'll probably find the locket. Maybe Ginny (I hope her significance is MINIMAL)

I don't want Ron to die. I don't think any of the trio will die. I don't even think Draco will die. Pansy, you know, I'm not as confidant about. It's remarkably odd and exciting how much JKR's characters mirror my own and if this pattern continues, Pansy will not survive. I don't think her parents would want her seeing Draco now that he's outed as a Death Eater, but I don't see her following their rules. Voldemort would see her death as an opportunity to keep Draco more in his control. But as I've said, this is mere speculation, based on the strange patterns it seems to be following. Like minds..I don't know.

I'm sure Bellatrix will die. Perhaps by Neville, that would be sweet, but I don't know, Neville might have his hands full, and Bellatrix would be right next to Voldemort almost the entire time. As I told a friend of mine, I'm expecting Harry to kill Bellatrix, technically, but also, she would be technically killed by Voldemort who was simply trying to save his own skin. That'll learn her.

Oh, yeah, and Lucius might die. Not Cissy, just Lucius. Narcissa will be safe at her parents' house. In Azkaban, or Voldie, or one of his followers or on the Azkaban's guards might kill him. Not the dementors. Their fate seems to be sealed with Voldemort's, actually. Who would replace them as Azkaban's guards? I got my fingers crossed for some giants to be called in.

Yep i have to say i agree with that comment though. I LOVED reading LOTR.
Tolikien is a genius.
But I can see why Harry Potter is so famous. And maybe becuase its written in a more... modern english, this may also attract readers.
Im not a big fan of Harry Potter, but yeah LOTR is an excellent trilogy.

Tolkein... well, I enjoyed lord of the rings but, personally... I hated The Hobbit.

And I created my own language, I am fluent in it too... it's for those psycho things I either don't want anyone to read or hear... Creating your own language does not mean you're a genius... It just means you have too much time on your hands =] Or, At least, in my case, it does.

Some interesting insight though, up there. I am sooooo excited for the release. Personally, I think the title is a little........ dumb, dontcha think?

I think that Voldemort will die. Harry cant die because she said although there will most likely not be another book she could write one.

the prophecy said "neither can live while the other survives..."

which means that one of them has to die, and I doubt she would kill off harry for fear of angry revolting fans. =) Also, I doubt harry is a horcrux, because although it is possible, humans think and feel for themselves, and if voldemort needed that last piece of his soul, he would need to kill harry, possibly killing his own soul as well.

I also thing RAB is regulus black, and he is possibly in hiding... they thought he died but he may still be out there because he was not important enough to be killed personally by voldemort... how can we be sure he's really dead?

Well, if that's true, i really hope it's Hermione.

I've always thought all of JKR's titles to be a bit..er..Juvenile, but, eh, it is Children's Fiction. And she IS a school teacher.

Of course, Harry could suffer a Metaphorical death, in that, whatever lengths he has to go to in order to kill Voldemort, could break down his personality, so that at the end of the book, he can no longer just be friends with Ron and Hermoine, but he'd have to go away and be alone.

It could be that kind of death.

If not, the it's definately Ron who is going to die, nothing would be more exciting than Ron dying a hero in Harrys arms, professing his love for Hermoine, and then Harry getting really angry and taking on Voldemort...using the passion from his love of his friends to power him up...

that could link up the love thing....which is destined to be the reason Harry can beat Tom Riddle.

Yeah i thought ron too, also because it would be the saddest death with him being in such a big family. I reckon that hermione and ron will fight through the whole book and then they will finally profess their love and then Ron will die..will be sad indeed

I like hermione... okay, well, I love her hair and because of her Hair I don't want her to die =] End of story. I hope it will be Ron because he annoys me lol!

i would want percy to somehow "go to the dark side" and then be killed for betraying voldemort to his family.

I think it's Harry that will die, there will be a big fight at the end of the book (like there always is) between Harry and Voldemort and this time they will finish each other off. Hermione and Ron will get together (of course) and run Hogwarts together, Neville will become an Auror, Malfoy will be crushed 'coz I hate him and so will Snape. And that's about all I can think of at the moment.

But is Dumbledore really dead?

^ That's what I keep wondering. I'm really not sure. I think he might be, but I would LOVE it if he came back. I love my Dumbledore. :P

I don't think Sirius was dead...He'll probably make a comeback. Dumbdeldore is gone for good, sadly I believe...Umm, I don't know its either Harry or Voldemort who is finished in this book...Most likely Harry. I think Snape will save his life on the other hand and die or something instead. Gah! its too mind bottling! I cant waiiiiiiiiit =D

I think that harry is going to die because jk doesn't want ne body to pick up the series again she has already said that... i think that harry will talk to dumbledore's portait in the headmasters office and dumbledore will tell him everything that he has to do. i don't think that ron or hermione will die,but they will get together! u can already see that.i think that neville will become the greates auror there has ever been, juss for his parents, i think that surius might come back though i am not sure voldermort will die!! draco will figure out that being a death eater is not all it is cracked up to be and will maybe juss leave it alone of maybe even go over to the good side. snape will help in some way.. and yea
