What kind of doctor doesn't confirm completley without running tests? Escpially with something like this. Well I'm not so sure on all of this but it doesn't so good.

If they're being like that, then get a another opinion. find another doctor if you can in your town and ask if they could run a blood test; or a pregnancy test if you feel you need to. if you can't do that, Tell them to run tests. you have to take care of your body. don't be afraid of them getting mad if you demand one or something.

I'm no doctor but it's probably just something wrong with your horomons. I'm sure they'll give you some kind of drug to help control it from happening too much.

Go to a different doctor who will diagnose you WITH a test...thats what you need. Good luck

First of all, what have they done? Have you had a recent pap smear? A pelvic exam?

Maybe you can start some birth control to regulate your cycle. They also offer a birth control patch, but honestly, I do not believe that the patch can be used for this purpose.

Call a gynacologist and make an appointment. Tell them that you need to schedule for a pap smear. Once the internal exam is done they may not need to do any additional testing. An experienced physician should be able to tell you if you are preg. or the possability of endo. by a pap smear alone.

If you are uncomfortable with the exam then do what I do. Go into in light hearted and make jokes ... just to get you through it. Most docs. actually have a sense of humor and appreciate a patient that does, too.

And I always leave saying "Thank-you for not sending me home with another child today".

    Go to a different doctor.

and even though you alreadt know it wouldnt be pregnancy... (teaching voice)THAT would be when you DONT have a period for, well, 9 months to sum it up. i cant believe a doctor was telling you this.

anyways, yea, go find another doctor. it may end up being that your blood just doesnt clot properly ( a relative of mine had a blood clotting disease, which made it clot more, and she had hers for a few weeks at a time due to the disease...)

it wont be as bad as you think it is, trust me. with a little medication, id say, youll be fine :)

    and take deep breaths.
it will help with the stress and worry.

I Agree That You Need To Find Yourself a Different Doctor, And If Your Not Already Seeing a Gynecologist You Really Need To See One Hun, Their Experts In That Field

Seriously! A doctor won't do any test? Go to Walgreens and pick up pregnancy test. If you're scared, then have someone else get it for you. Those doctors are a little wack! 4 times... I really feel bad for you. That would just plain out SUCK.

Yeah that's just crazy for a doctor to let something like this go like that. But definitely demand some kind of test.

My cousin's 4 or 6 month old baby was sick and the doctors said she had mucus stuck in her chest but didn't give her anything for it. Then one night my cousin saw that the baby wasn't breathing. The baby passed away because the doctors didn't do any tests or give her any medicine the first time.
So ask questions and get tests done.

Well... you definally weren't lying in the title... I don't feel like having Dinfast (Dinner-breakfast) now...
Get tests done is all I can say.

I personally don't see what's so disgusting about it. I think us guys should try and find out more about it and do what we can do to help (if she/they wants us to) girls/women feel better. It's already bad enough and unfair for the ladies that they have to go through hundreds of them while men are free of the monthly complications. Just this is enough to make me want to be more of a gentleman. It's odd I guess, but I try to talk to my girlfriend about it...and I'd be extra nice to her when it's that time of the month hehe...

^ That's nice of you, Joey :) I'm not even joking. You have no idea how crappy it is to bleed out of your privates for a week straight, once a friggin' month! Once you forget what a period is, it creeps up on you again. Darn.

Queen Jane has it right! And that was sweet. It IS miserable and it IS the crappiest time of month. BLEH Thanks for making me realize that SOME guys actually care... *annoyed voice*

Then again some don't. I'm not very grly at all so I love to disgust my guy friends! lol

^if you want guys to care, you shouldn't do that. A lot of the time, a girl only assumes that the guy would find it disgusting...well I guess it's understandable for it to be odd talking about it serious with just any guy...so I only approach it with close friends and my girlfriend.

I've never talked to a guy about...that. I never want to but it's nice if they don't cringe at it!! Right? lol

God girls are really emotional and stupid, or it's just me. When I read that I actually wanted to cry. I'm on mine now and it was just the nicest thing since FOREVER.

For about a second there...I thought you were gonna snap at me with a "BangBang" comment haha...

Thanks, I appreciate your appreciation. Girls are adorable haha. A simple gesture on my part and you're moved :) Don't get me wrong...I'm not implying that you're easy...I mean what I'm doing should be second-nature. It's not hard being nice to someone. Besides...there isn't really much we can do :( it's still gonna happen. I suppose the least to be done is to show that we acknowledge and feel sympathy for what you have to go through.

  • emmerz

Ok, well yea it may be awkward for us to talk to guys about it, but i think what everyone is getting at is that its nice a guy finally told us that he realizes what we're going through and appreciating us for it.

us girls like being appreciated :)

Well my husband always jokes around about it saying things like "How can you trust an animal that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die?" haha - but he's always the first one to jump up and go to get my tablets at the chemist if I need them... and tickle my back and make me cups of tea. :) Awww...

    -Mo snaps out of it-

Soo... umm... have you got this checked out now?? Seriously - dont know how old you are, but if you're young, get your mum to go with you to demand tests done and if you're older then take a stand - this is your health they're treating so blatantly. I dont know about what the law is there - but Im pretty sure as doctors they are FORCED to do tests that you ask for! Its a liability otherwise.
