    K.. I had a similar fear.
Like I thought that if I sat on the toilet too long a crocodile would come up from his sewer home and bite my bum.
But as I grew up and I realized how impossible it is I got over it a little.
Lol. Im still known for how fast I can pee =P

( It's crazy what we can believe or our imaginations create)

Can't really say I've had similiar experience with the fear factor. Though I do remember after watching "snakes on a plane", one of the most boring movies ever, I checked the bathroom for any stray snakes, better be safe that have a snake bite me in the ...... while i'm taking a piss. ;p

I've always had the irrational fear that if I put a lighter in my pocket and accidently bumped into something or leaned on it, my pants would explode.

And I was scared of tarantulas coming out of the toilet from age 6 to age 11. I still get scared when I go camping.

I saw a tv segment when I was younger about a woman whose little boy found a boa constructer in their toilet. He closed the lid and ran for his mom and the snake went back up the pipes.

I'm still terrified of finding a snake in the toilet every single day. And I'm 18 and I live in Canada loll

I can't say I'm afraid of using the toilet but I can't be alone in a room with a TV, specially an old one.
The Ring has traumatized me o.O
Nor can I look at the mirror at night....

I was always afraid to flush when i was little, because i watched what was it, dogma? with the poop monster? and so i would either not flush at all, or flush and run like the wind.

    Okay here goes:
My brother was talkinga bout how he hid in the shower once when we were playing hide and seek and my dad went into the bathroom and took a crap while my bro was hiding in the shower! I was told this when I was 8. Not I am 13 and 5 years later, I STILL look behind the curtain EVERY time i use the bathroom. On youtube, I watched a video with a clown behind the cutain. I get so scared if I don't look that I'll freeze up and start silently crying. It's not so hard on me now that I have a clear shower curtain. *smile* Also, I can't stand dark spaces. I can be in one but I imagine hands or beetles touching me. *shudders* Eeeuuuuggghh. I terrify myself to the extream.

Oh and I agree with the pool drain kid. This falls under the dark-spaces thing. ANY black hold I can't see into scares the living day lights out of me. Drains, EMPTY LIGHT SOCKETS IN THE POOL, at the caves, closets, windows. Anything that has the it-can-see-you-but-you-can't-see-it status. Eeeeee..... *shiverssssss*
