I'll rate each poem from 1- 10 (the rating will be based on my personal taste, the wording, imagery and uniqueness of the piece) and everyone gets the numbers of comments equal to the ratings of their poems.

Curiosity

On a beautiful, sun kissed, autumn morn',
Tracks of others seen on soft dewy lawn.
Jolted movement seen through fallen leaves.
The thrill of a hunt was enough just to please.

Head says to wait, heart wanting to charge,
Destiny defined you'd be a predator at large.
Unsure on approach; you take one tentative pause.
You've razor sharp teeth and ten surgical claws.

Super sharp senses, now approaching your prey.
You're stalking your quarry so it won't run away.
Wanting. No. Needing to know what's through there.
Heightened hearing mixed with a steely stare.

Sneaky stealth courses through speedy feet.
Knowing full well your enemy will be beat.
Only yards away your anticipation rises.
You and you alone are the king of surprises.

Muscles tense up, ready for the imminent kill,
This type of precision attack is your ancestral skill.
Decisions click into place. It's time for the rush.
One almighty pounce, you push through the bush.

You claw nothing but air as you land on your feet.
Stuck, stranded in the middle of the street.
There's nothing to kill and nothing to chase.
Just huge, metal animals engaged in a race.

Hissing loudly as you collide with the beast,
No more anticipation, this hunt has ceased.
At the "snap" of bone, you know you're beat.
Pain caresses your carcass like a deep soulful heat.

You hear your name called, not knowing where.
She softly strokes your thick blood matted hair.
You see masters face, feel her hand and her breath.
You're purring away as you give in to your death.

Look Through My Eyes

Slaughtered; In a constant daze,
How the hell did she end up like this?
Nobody noticed, understood
Couldn't read the signs that you missed.

Happiness came, happiness went,
Only now its written to you clear.
An A-B-C structure simple enough?
When sadness drew you went near.

For goodness sake try to visualize,
How she felt when you fought,
You screamed and shouted at each other,
Forgetting the ones that you loved.

Look through my eyes now,
Wheres she gone? Your little girl.
Disappeared through her silence
Your arguing became her world.

Little brother asking for his mummy
Too busy fighting down stairs.
She goes to confront them,
Theres only so much a girl can bare.

Thats it enough time to confront
Them her heart decides,
That angry look dominating her face
Now you look through my eyes.

She screams she shouts she yells,
For gods sake stop acting like this!
Too busy acting like stupid children
To leave fantasy and face what the reality is.

One day you might understand,
The psychological impact it had,
Depression, suicidal, catastrophic,
How quickly a life went from good to bad.

I bet your surprised now however,
For now there are no more cries.
Shes able to stand bigger than you,
Now look through my eyes.

A constant smile is across my face,
I am now grateful for what I get.
True love, a job, a life of smiles
On my past I shall not fret.

Somewhere Only We Know

'6:10', The exact time it happened
As you wept on your knees by her bed.
Room fell silent as the monitor stopped
Doctor announced her death.

Your grandmother, your world,
The one who you loved the most.
Was there whenever you needed a smile,
Now the one you have lost.

You begged them to save her 'PLEASE'
Couldn't bare to be alone,
Swung your arm around me, 'Shh, babe close your eyes,
And find somewhere only we know.

Our world. A lifeline which blocks out pain.
Tears made me soaking wet,
Swallowing your sadness in love and care
For I am all you have left.

But whatever you do don't smother me,
For fate is inevitable for life
'To die you first have to live my love' I spoke,
'Still a lot has happened tonight'.

At home you sob yourself to sleep,
Whispering ' I love you ' as you go,
Laying down next to you entering the world
Of somewhere only we know.

Diamond Grace

Diamond Grace
Such a pretty name,
Matching a beautiful face
It's truly a shame
that behind her name,
is lies and hatred and disgrace

Grace in itself is only a lie
the surname of a family
that makes the world cry
with a dead-beat father
and a drug addict mother
no one pretends to bother
about the poor girl
or her younger brother

She is divine, just like her name
She should shine, her lights in fame
Little girl should be a star
But her family won't let her go far
Family business- sell their daughter's soul
Family business- turn her heart stone cold
Selling her innocence, she's an underground star
just a child, yet she's supporting them all
with her dirty deeds, she's dug her self deep
every night with another man she sleeps
and with her little brother she weeps
because already he is forced
to go down this lonely course
a path to nowhere,
where no body cares
or is ever there.

Little Diamond Grace
With a pretty name
to match a pretty face
But where her heart should lie
is only an empty space

Blood's Sweet Toxicity

Running through the forest at midnight,
Atmosphere black as pitch
No moon or stars are out tonight,
Ready for the fight for your life?

Now the prey in the hunt, he should have known
That such a soul should have be left alone.
Smell sickly sweet that odor? Lying on your breath?
Thats the tragic scent, of forbidden love's death.

Verboten love's tantalizing kiss.
Has left you in a troublesome abyss.
Protection now, is what you miss.
All from a simple, yet deadly kiss.

Vampyric blood flows through your soul
Do not fight it, 'tis what makes you whole
One which thrives, in the darkest of night,
Should not try, to be a fool of the light.

How asinine, Darling you have been.
Foolish, desperate Vampyric child.
Pretending to be a normal human within,
When in fact you are immortal, sinful, and wild.

Now you've let go of your insecurities,
and realized humans are simply impurities
So from the thrill of the chase feel true felicity
and taste the kiss of blood's sweet toxicity

Take This To Heart

These nights, i've found patience in bottles at half mass
while humming a tune that's something for someone's sake.
you havent seen trying till you raise up your hands now,
and once again, the perfect thing is ruined by the snake.
eden must have been as fair as you yourself are i'd say
and i crave for just a small taste of the fight that's in you.
i feel like this taut face is begging for restless answers
to tuck me in and help me sleep till day, right through.
i'll silently sit out this one, i promise you that much;
and hello, it was so nice to see you smiling here again.
i feel like i could touch empathy with brazed fingertips
while planting your feet where forever never ends.

it feels as my mouth is disconnected from my brain because,
i'd never before tell you you breathe beautifully when you sleep.
i can taste the sulfur in such a severe way, it is slowly burning;
i know you love me, so say so.. make me feel your need.

i'm winding down to find a need a crash course now
in all of the ways i need to inhale and exhale to breathe.
you've stolen the life from my fingertips, my lungs too
and i hope with all that i am you never give it back to me.
without girls like you, there would be no poetry in the world
there'd be no such thing as flowers and outer space.
and you play it coy, but you always loved my metaphors,
only thing that could ever bring a smile to your withered face.
if you talk about space ships i'll give you the magic here
i'll press it eagerly and so urgently into your small palms.
i will trace you bed time stories against your arms now,
and sing you the saddest of every single sad song

An Adu About Nothing
I found patience passed out on the basement couch
with a quilt woven of something for somebody's sake.
and i wished it was you who was calm and collected
because assurance keeps me from laying awake.
despite the brutality i've done to my lip, i'm sure that
i never really knew the things i wanted from you.
with thick lines of blackmail, i'm at my wits end now;
you've got this arguement gagged and sealed for two.
this something for somebody is growing so very tiresome,
so you can slip your adues through the mail slot out front.
i have so less of nothing that i feel the glass is a quarter
full of what it ever really seemed to be, shards of glass so blunt.

i've slipped in the middle of circles
with gag rags made to rope.
i've touched difference with my fingertips
just to figure in a form of hope.
i have shirtsleeves full of sweet nothings,
lies and lyrics laced with, it'll all be okay's.
while circles have no beginnings you'll find
neither did we on these road soaked days.

to be quite honest, your biased opinons are burning up
with ashes laid out to surrender to the rain stained air.
and your book smarts wont help you with what i am;
the man that lost his breath inside a whisp of your hair.
i feel everything and anything, i wish you knew that,
maybe then you could have believed what i felt was real.
i never tasted anything like your incentive on a tuesday
and your insight at three am with the looks you left to steal.
but with bitten back one liners, and a heavy held heart
i couldn't hold onto all of the things you've given to me.
so i'll drink my drink, without you knowing some things;
sorts of things you always knew were important to me.

Angel's punishment

This maledicted composition has no beginning,
no end; knows no rules or patterns.

Convince deities that your frozen fingers
aren't lying; I'm just playing with bloody words;
scriptures are imprisoned with barbed wire
while pendulum swings above the gallows...

... killing predictions...

Eat my heart while it's still beating,
lick the pail blood as it glides down my lips;
every particle is foreseen, then implanted
into obscurity of your acrid mind.

... and you played a part of the dark angel.

Special effects mesmerize shape- shifting thoughts,
ornamented with fatal glistens;
nobody hears those venomous laments,
drowned in scarlet, pulsing empathy.

... and you condemned yourself to life in sombre skies.

We drank each others entities on the devils' funeral
lit all candles with nocturnal gaze,
haunted sacred voids over starless abysses
and felt the auras with scarred fingertips.

Let the wolves howl through the night
as you taste last chalice of this darkened passion,
flavor burns your tongue, punishing
you for every lie, my dark angel.

This maledicted composition has no beginning
but it meets its end
over corpses of thieves united in death.
It knows no rules, no pattern indeed,
but today is playing its' final tunes.

I Dream In Infrared

Graphite sighs and darkened illusions
faced with fake moral of gemstones,
my tattoos painted over her face
under frozen moons and midnights.

Poems I wrote were deep and blackened,
to prove myself to a Devil I killed
the Angel of innocence and divine beauty.
There's no escape from his dreadful hands.

I dream in infrared, every night
and then in the morning I wake under umbrella
that shelters me from drenching blood
that floods my kitchen's ceiling.

Grotesque magnificence fearlessly repeated
same old stories of charcoal malediction;
I was lost, never to be found again
and everyone ignored my blissful pleas.

My alter- ego is better than me in every way,
I bow my head before his captivating might,
in the arena of the shadows I lose control again,
letting that embody of darkness to speak.

I dream in infrared, every night
... till my dreams become reality.

Tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow

Randomly I learned language of Gods
and then cursed their names through the window,
glowing silence leaked through my veins
while I spoke with Rhamon and Stinger.

Rhamon was the ghost of Undead
he symbolically ate his victims
and then he made bonfires
and aimed at the sky with poisoned arrows.

Stinger was a guitarist once broken inside
he cut off his platinum hair and built a church,
went to the islands and painted over shores;
he was my idol and my guide through the dark.

Tomorrow Rhamon will suffocate my entity
and repair it with implements of fear.
And tomorrow Stinger's sacraments will
haunt me in my dreadful dreams.
and tomorrow I'll die.

Randomly I learned language of Gods
and then cursed their names through the window,
glowing silence leaked through my veins
while I spoke with Rhamon and Stinger.

Little yellow hats sit
On the heads of little men,
As they race around the chambers
And build the walls up once again.

"Please excuse the mess,"
Several orange signs say,
As the whining drills spin 'round
And the hammers pound away.

Rubble and debris
On what used to be a floor,
But since the slight disaster,
My heart is nothing more.

Blood is flowing freely
Down the fault line in the base,
Just another scar
That I can't possibly erase.

Zoom out.

Big and red and pulsing,
An oddly broken shape,
A heart inside an open chest,
Wrapped in caution tape.

I whisper out so quietly,
Surviving mass destruction,
"My heart cannot yet love you,
It's closed down for construction."

Method in the Madness

Trapped inside eternal emptiness,
Disdain poisons her ruby lips.
Madness is the cure for loneliness,
And her fragile heart it rips.

Cured by the ticking of softened emotions,
She breaks through the cycle of fate.
No longer plagued by these daily devotions,
Twisted and surrounded by thoughtful hate.

Crawling away from this torture now,
She knew that she'd be free somehow.

Contagious

You dared to be the hero
You swore you'd be courageous
I suppose it doesn't work that way:
Bravery is contagious

You said you'd never be a fool
Afraid to be too outrageous
But we both knew it was different:
Charisma is contagious

All the times you said to me,
"You know, they'd never make us"
We wanted to be with the crowd:
Conformity is contagious

Tears were wiped away
And pain had never phased us
But something here was terribly wrong:

Looked so glamorous
As I admired with my eye

Though I haven't a clue why.

I sit in silence now, the walls are closing in some how
The darkness quietly swoops in and beings to surround
It's over I lost, I close my eyes but they wont open back up
My ears are shot and my body goes numb

And with this cloud over my head, I have no idea what's been said
I might as well be in the other room, cause in the world of me
It always rains but I can see, the sun, buts its just out of reach
You could call it depression, but sadness is my obsession
And yet I can't cry, and believe me I've tried
But I cant conjure up the strength or the will
To make myself do something that would
Seem so much like giving up when I have only just begun

The organ strikes up a tinkling tune
About a little cow who jumped over the moon

Pink candy floss cloads float lazily past
Time in this dreamworld flies by way too fast
A cute little elf reaches for your hand
Ring around the roses then fall on the sand

Butterfly kisses and cold lemonade
An enchanted dreamworld that your mind has made
So go to sleep sweetheart, close your tired eyes
Spend all your sweet dreams with magic butterflies

Xx Tequila Loves Me xX

She sits in the corner of the kitchen crying
Cos she's found out about his cheating and lying
Fumbling in the cupboards with one clumsy hand
So intoxicated, she can't even stand

Her world tumbled down when he left her alone
Came back from work to a broken up home
All that was left was a crumpled up letter
She knew what to do to make it all better

Tore up all his clothes that he's left behind
Smashed up his belongings and threw them outside
Opened up the champagne saved for a special day
And drank it all down wondering what he'd say

Hours later she slumped down amongst the debris
Singing loud; "Never mind, Tequila loves me!"
Clutching the bottle tightly in her fist
She finally succumbed to the alcohols kiss

Gentle waves bestow soft lullaby
Tiptoes reach to kiss thy face

Prayer and longing one the same
Time's precious gift a grain of sand

Sheltered path holds shadow's play
Taste of salt through open door
No hint of fallen steps displayed
Perchance the dream, a dream no more

Wicked Harvest

Light haze covers an earthen crop
Beneath the stones where corpses rot
Hellish hounds howl in near distance
Souls lie in limbo where purgatory exists

Lives defined by whether good or evil
Demons lurk in search of their equal
Decades of formaldehyde soaked flesh
Leathery marinade for the famished

All Hallows Eve, when the feast begins
Relentless beasts are there when it ends
Walk with the living with scent of death
Waiting, anticipating for your final breath

Master of Dreams

Thoughts collide in memory
Where dreams become reality
Ticking slow the pendulum
Eternal is it's beating rhythm

Re-runs of how it used to be
Forced to watch incessantly
Perpetual shows, voices victim,
Injects my mind with it's venom

Creep forth from recesses deep
No hour have I to find relief
Graffiti littered inner sanctum
Marked for me with it's emblem

Day or night, find no peace
Taunting with no signs to cease
Amnesia, what a thing to welcome
To rid myself this hosting phantom

Friendly Note

To Cat and all my friends,

How I want to be there for you
How I want to say "I miss you"

We're close and we both know that
But sometimes all I can say is "Cat!"

Nothing more after that word
Just a smile and silence's heard

I sometimes wonder how you are
And how has life been so far

We don't talk as much as we used to

And that's something everyone adores

But I really want to take this time
To show my appreciation through rhyme

Timeless Symphony

Eyes open, I'm still in bed
Recalling a dream of you
I wonder why I cant move on
When I have every reason to

All reasons have hurt me
Every single one cut so deep
So deep, I still have the scars
That remind me of my one leap

A leap of faith where I crashed
Cause I didnt think of landing
All that mattered was to jump

What do I do when you say you don't care?
And the pain is far too deep for me to bear.
I wonder will you even notice I am gone?
Will you come to my funeral to say so long?
Will you see me in my coffin, and kiss my head?
It's hurts to know the only kiss ill get from you, is when I'm dead.
But why did it have to be this way?
It was you, nobody else, who got me from day to day.
To know you are with somebody else, much pain it brings.
It always hurts when I hear about those kinds of things
Do you not love me because the way I wear my hair?
I would go bald if you want me to, if it makes you care.
I really hope you will read this letter?
If you would of only given me, a chance to show you I could have treated you better.
Than all the other guys who you chose instead of me
God damn it I told you, that we were meant to be.
What is it about you that makes me feel so good?
If I could have gotten over you, trust me, I most certainly would.
I cannot put in plain words on how I am feeling.
My heart is on fire, it is not to appealing.
It feels like Ive died a thousand times inside

Ever time I see you with another guy, I die again.
But I would die a million times, if we could just be friends.
It is getting hard to count all the times my hearts has torn.
I really wish sometimes, that I wasn't even born.
Someone please tell me what this torture is for.

So it's now that I sit in my bed.
It will be here tomorrow where they will find me dead.
Because this cut in my wrist is getting pretty deep.
I've got a picture of you in my hand; it's the one you said I could keep.
Now the blood is going every where wow I wish you could see.
All of this could have been avoided if you would have just loved me.
Man I haven't said all I have to say, so I have to hurry.
Because it's getting hard to breath now, and my visions going blurry.
So I can't really see your pretty little smile.
Don't worry my life will be over in just a little while.
I'm going to take these last few minuets to sit back and reminisce.

Two shoes and a skull

We carried the pedestal of leper skinned heroes,
to the lazarusizer to receive their resurrectioning.,
but his door was bolted shut, no healing hand here.

so the swarm of diseased caravan meat bearers,
turned back, in search of a fire of cave dwellers.

what they found was a safe congregation,
of a tribe of hungry, welcoming, cannibals,
that were more than accommodating for their request,
to warm themselves around their modest fire.

i suppose the taste of leper skin doesn't really differ,
that much from the flavor of freshly torn flesh.

the warmth was not unconditional by any means,
a sacrifice was required, the pedestal became lighter.
surprisingly the tribe thanked the travelers as they left,
one soul lighter, two shoes, and a skull left behind,

weighing so heavy on the hearts of the one's spared,
trembling and cold, the pedestal was lifted once more.

Mercury eyed

Crudely constructed
greenly-hinted, bronzed legs,
elevate and support a coffee colored throne.

proudly mounted
by the queen of lost solace,
eyes like mirrors, wings of a bird, tail of a fish.

her minimal crown
is nothing but a breath of wind,
caught in a tornado circling around her head.

orchids and lilys
surround the purity of her aura,
no heathens and sinners kneel down before her.

this is the palace
of unforgetfullness undone,
the forgivenfleshgrantinghand has come.

her arms
are tree limbs, her hands are but leaves,
to cradle and console those lost deep in the forest.

no pagan rituals
or witchery, a holy sanctuary,
a modest shrine, where every soul is welcome.

don't fear the celebration of serenity, engulf yourself fully in the unmisery that lies within, sit down quietly in front of the queen, and watch her face so serene, stare in amazement as her mirrored eyes cry tears of mercury

The vice kills the sun,
on twilight's shadow it feeds.
Fall into despair,
paper dancer bleeds.
Morbid.
Surreal.

The corpses are awake,
leaving traces of death.
They have reached here,
I hold my breath.
Feared.
Frightened.

Your soul drenched in blood,
I help you drown.
Glass in your eyes,
can you see me?
Blinded.
Sightless.

I sleep to die,
hunger for pain.
Scream the sacred vows,
evil will rise again.
Stoned.

Walk on the grounds of sorrow,
the blood of self satisfaction.

Violin Strings Of Sorrow

The darkest of all violin stings,
Etched upon a souls depth,
Words echo throughout time,
As cries collapse sweet lungs.

Melodic tunes hold no beauty,
Guitar strings suddenly fray
Piano keys lose all sound,
As distant weeps begin to wake.

Lost throughout eerie mist,
A shadow falls to the ground,
Trapped within delicate eyes,
A child drowned in song.
