Title: Cry

What I see when i look into your eyes,
Is everything you hide from the world,
When all your emotions become swirled,
So all you ever do is cry, cry, cry.

You say over again you want to die,
Holding the picture of us from the shelf,
All you ever do is think of yourself,
And all you ever do is cry, cry, cry.

I sometimes sit and wonder how and why,
You never gave me any kind of clue,
Together me and you were always true,
But now all you do is cry, cry, cry.

Shall I give up or shall i help and try,
When all you ever do is cry, cry, cry.

~~The form is based upon a shadow sonnet but I changed the rhyming scheme a bit.

10 sylables per line.. 14 lines

Let's Dance.

Prove your words surrounding my walls,
do it now, before all else falls.
Churn your insides to match mine,
then tell me why life's so fine.
Burn images within my soul,
of your face, to make me whole.
Promise me we'll never be over,
since you're my lucky four leaf clover.

Charm me with your innocence,
but don't let everything make sense.
For, we need something to solve,
before our hearts dissolve.
We can fight about mixtures,
and kitchen light fixtures.
We can learn about love,
and heaven up above -

But, promise me you'll stand by me.
Until the end of eternity.
For, I need to hear it from your mouth-
before all else goes down south.
Burning sensations and silly goose bumps,
along with my throat becoming a lump-
Let's dance to the beat of our hearts,
before this world falls apart.

What Can I Do.

Settling for less than your conscious can take.
Bearing with yourself, not what you could make.
Forgetting the past, as you haunt your own mind,
And, taking a right - when you're meant for the left.

Charming yourself into what will never be,
and imagining pictures of him for eternity.
Changing your ways to get close to him.
And, burning yourself with lies from within.

Just take all you've got and begin to move on,
don't settle for less than everything left.
Just bear with yourself until you reach the point,
the point of no return. . .

For, what can I do to help your soul out.
But, send some prayers up about -
You're all that I want and all that I need,
and I know it's reciprocated back to me. . .

Captured With a Smile; Left With a Tear.

She strolls along the peaceful stream tentatively
Lost all hope in the splendor of her baffled world
When suddenly beauty strikes her wandering eye
Off into the near distance was an image of a boy
With sparkling eyes glistening in the vivid sunlight
Charming smile revealed yearning luscious lips
Young girl tripped and fell into everlasting love

Sneaking innocent kisses in the damp pouring rain
Cuddling in front of a snug and dazzling fireplace
He always spoke those sweet and charming words
While romancing her and dancing the night away
The striking moon shimmered in her hopeful eyes
As he softly whispered the words she longed to hear
Young girls heart overwhelmed with tender love

The murky clouds roamed in as the dire day arrived
It was time to part ways and exchange tearful goodbyes
Heartbreakingly sad cries escape her quivering lips
As she dreads the parting from his warm embrace
He gently kisses the streaming tears from her cheeks
As he turns to go his way, she screams for him once more
Young girl felt the heartache of a wonderful love lost

The kindhearted and affectionate times spent together
Would now become merely a love filled memory
Young girl captured with a smile; left with a tear

The leaves are dancing with the wind
Birds are playing, chirping and singing
Everyone I meet every face are grinned
Happy spirits even the hearts are laughing

The sun is out and there is a storm around
But we are like sheltered from it inside a ball
Don�t feel any pressure or hear any sound
Even though we are surrounded with turmoil

The music I hear is very soothing
Water dashing against the solid rocks
Not a sound of siren or traffic buzzing
Only sounds of footsteps on the boardwalks

It is a happy sensation not needing a thing
Not a hunger or craving for something
This calm and relaxed feeling is fulfilling
I feel like singing, jiving and dancing

Dance with me sing with me
It is a lovely beautiful Sunday
Don't be crabby and don't be cranky
This maybe the only day we'll feel this way

I want to be with you

A spring breeze,
A summer sun,

Stay

I look down to my fingers,
To write out some wisdom,
I look up above,
To try and read the Kingdom,

I look all around, in and out,
Even crawl through to see,
But all I can find
Is there are no answers for me.

Hesitant at first to admit,
My feelings inside,
But as time went on,
I could no longer hide.

I fell, and fell hard,
And had not one regret,
When my heart found love,
My mind was set.

You, you were wonderful,
Too good to be true,
That saying is valid,
For I no longer have you.

You came and went,
Leaving me alone,
And now I'm recovering,
In the place from which I was thrown.

I know more now,
Than when first I came,
What I know now is,
My feelings are not the same.

So mixed up and jumbled,
Never making sense,
The only thing clear is life,
No white picket fence.

I miss falling into you,
Knowing that you're there,
But now I know,
That's with somebody else you share.

I won't ask questions,
Because silence will follow,
But I just want to know,
How much longer my heart will be hollow.

I wish you would have stayed,
For us to be together always,
But life isn't always what we wanted,
Since this is not a perfect world.

A cosmic pull,
Goes unexplained.

Drink of joy,
To drown in pain,
Repeat the notion,
Yet again.

Love is strange,
There is no doubt,
A sacred tide,
Which washes out,

Cleansing all,
We do abhor,
Creating,
What we hated more.

A need to feel,
Another's touch,
Though you fight,
You're in it's clutch.

It couldn't be,
Another way,
These feelings,
Who you are today.

Blue skies watch as we lay below the trees
The grass so cool beneath you and me

A shimmering glint of sunlight swims through your eyes
I couldn't help but stare into them as the day passed us by

Your skin, sun kissed and dampened from the afternoon heat
Left my lips feeling tender and my soul oh so sweet

The tickle of your breath was enough to make me melt
It was the most beautiful sensation I have ever felt

That moment in time as our two souls became one
Was when my soul praised God for what He had done

All these things I write because in fear, to you I cannot say
But I promise to never forget that one beautiful Sunday

Imagination churning,
My mind is slowly burning,
When will we stop yearning?
Wanting evermore.

The heart's a fickle friend,
If never it does mend,
Hatred can extend,
And kill what we adore.

Imagine there's no colour,
They world has turned to grey,
Blending in with everything,
That hate would find a way.

Though there'd be no difference,
In what it is you see,
The heart that beats within,
Knows what cannot be.

slowly turning
time passes the day

the sunrises
people stretch
moving quickly
traffic, what a wretch

busy days
passing by
so much time
but none to say "hi"

ticking away
the hand turns round
now time for lunch
everyone's restaurant bound.

after the meal
slow the time goes
rest and relax
why, no one knows

finally the work day ends
founding home
time ticks,
traffic moves slow

with dinner gone
sleep comes fast
somber and tired
lay in the bed of iron cast.

full of passion, love, desire.
even now after hours, days, even months
they are unchanging
almost as if time stood still
i smile just at the thought
of those copper eyes staring down at me

the second our eyes lock
my head swims
the world is better
just knowing that your eyes
are unchanging

Sitting in the gutter of her street,

Listening to the sound of her heart beat...

Sometimes she wishes,
That alone she never was...
But it's not her fault,
Whenever she gets spoken to she withdraws...

Who feels her life is very pitiful.

She often copped verbal abuse,
A lot of it too,
But the worst of it was,
She never did anything to deserve the pain she was going through...

Who preyed at night,

But then one day...
Someone stopped to say hello
She blushed and said hello too
And from then on their friendship continued to grow.
