Path ahead

Flanked by bushes, depressing trunks,
the path ahead appears tapered

I notice radiant
leaves, a little further on.

Verdant umbrellas above,
speckled with azure,
wrap me up in dull shades.

My path seems to end
with an iron gate.

I am unaware,
whether its locked up

from the other side

Nonetheless, I join the morning zephyr
hurrying through
screens of mist, and the greenness

Gravels beneath my feet
speak softly in some nameless dialect

as I move on
