Sunrise by the bridge

by Arunansu   Jun 4, 2008

Girders demarcated a pink heaven
from water. The reddish glow peeped
behind mighty pillars.

I tossed a pebble.
Water broke her calm amid the mist.
A cage of beams listened

to a river's soliloquy.
Few minutes were left for your train
to leave.

Suddenly I sensed
the morning chill. Gold glittered over
ripples of blood.
