In that part of the world

by Karla   Aug 10, 2014

In that part of the world,
the sky is in exile
and the ruins dissolve
the deaf red nights.

they wait nothing
and cries triumph
as the sunny soil
seeks for refuge
behind a couple
of dead children.

there hatred wounded
and absolved peace;
there are no heroes
in that silent land,
just dishonoured mothers
mourning their bleeding wombs.

in that part of the world,
injustice was bestowed
like an old sacrament.

Painfully true and powerfully sad. Your words paint an ugly but honest picture through this beautiful poem.
