Changing Creed

by Andrew Packard   Sep 14, 2014

Changing Creed

I mowed over a flower today
Without a flinch or turn away

Even my favorite color
Didn't matter to the mower

What was its purpose anyway?
To spawn its seed, break open and bleed?

To give its self
for my need...

First a flower then a weed
Unexplained by any Creed.

Very nice Andrea, ve Yry nice. You're definitely a pro-poet. With your own ways, ins and outs. I loved the what was its purpose part, till the end, the MOST.

The opening lines were very sweet and smile-provoking.
