Time Will Tell All:

by Scott Cole   May 11, 2016

Imagine a World
Where time ran backwards,
Every step not taken
Is one you chase after.

Where memories of yonder
Disappear one by one,
Everything you knew
You never have done.

When you look upwards
And see my numbers,
All going in reverse
Twelve little runners.

I want haunt your mind
About being on time,
Rush you out the door
Come rain or shine.

You want seek your arm
Or glance to the skies,
All those little places
That we like to hide.

So forget my ways
I'm not worth your time,
All of that thinking
That crosses your mind.

It's all a big waste
I'm a broken little soul,
Down on my luck
With no get up and go.

When will it happen
When is that day,
That daylight savings time
Will wonder my way.

And turn me around
That road that I know,
Put me on course
To give off my glow.

Imagine a World
That ran in clockwise,
When all that we did
Was always on time.
