Liar Liar

Are you okay?
Is there something you need to say?
Maybe it's time to step up to the plate
Confess to create a clean slate

Your compassion runs no deeper than your own skin
Even when all the evidence points to your very sin
Still you stand and lie right in front of everybody here
With no shame nor guilt as you bluntly grin and sneer

So what else is there left to do once the crime is done?
It all points to you yet you still claim you're not the one
When will take the responsibility that was placed on you
Instead of ignoring the reality of all that is true?
