The ocean

I see the dark sea
The waves crashing towards me
The moonlight hitting the surface
The rain against my face

I smell the ocean
The fresh air
I feel the breeze caressing my skin

I feel the sand beneath my feet
I hear the sound of angry waters

I feel the water rising up
I feel the cold go through me
I taste the salty water in my mouth
I feel my lungs fill up with hope

I fall into myself
I let my senses close down
I let the water take over me
And I see the light
And I know I'm finally home
