In response to a friend...

Its not, i just take the truth and apply it to reality
for i speak the language of poets when others attempt to speak of renewal
i stand among the broken and forgotten
as i adjust and asses them till there fixed
i allow them to start a revolution of there own accord
my words are not of the lord but of my soul
its a struggle not a blessing
for the fluid in my pen wards off the wicked
yet the pad calls upon evil acts of sexual delights
so you see its a struggle
its neither a gift from God or the devil
its neither a blessing or a curse
its the weapon of my choice
my voice in which i use to preach with
for i await for riots of thoughts in which the generation of fallen angels begin
these words i preach to resurrect the forgotten soldiers and wounded angels of the time
so as we place the weapons upon the shelf to negotiate peace
our youth begin to fade for they spew there hearts upon these pages which are never read
these situations which are never spoken of
so as they cry out it seems to fall on deaf ears for there is no one left to listen
we have been chosen to revive this day in time
for they have issued a challenge
upon silencing our voices
we bear fruit of truth when we live upon the sea of lies
if lies would ever consider the sins they committed and reside from there place
we will see a time of a new age
a true age
a age of peace
till then ill continue to tread through the snow and rain
with my tools of hope and faith
to assist the youth that see death as an escape
the ones who posses hospital scars upon there wrist
who alter there looks for Barbie
we begin to understand that all may be lost but not forgotten
so as we lift up a book in toast of a new golden age in time
i suggest we educate the masses and declare ignorance a crime
for we parade upon bliss joys of government induced chaos and fictions
so as i restate it once again
we need to stand and fight for this age in time with all our might
because all is forgotten unless we allow our voices to be heard
and our flag to be seen
open your mouth and speak
for tomorrow belongs to you
