Why blame me
when I met someone I knew not
had such a powerful spirit to light a blaze
to make thoughts wander like a forest on fire
but sometimes when the direction is not clear
can the heart really put out the fire ?
When the soul is pure like a unflickering candle
can it all be so wrong ?
But if you do
look within yourself and ask
why did you put the forest on fire?
Maybe you have an answer to this puzzle
or a desire to find what else is missing ?
Is it the feeling of emptiness in this life,
or something more
or a desire to express, suppressed
because it was all wrong ?
