Two Sisters {4-14-11}

by Brittany Klein   Oct 4, 2011

There were two sisters
Not that long ago
Standing at a grave
Not ever wanting to let go.
Though they were about
Eight years apart
They were closer than ever
When we talk about their hearts.
To many it may have seemed a little odd
That they stood at a grave alone
But the truth behind the wall was this:
There they were so much closer to their home.
Little girls they once were
Just as happy as could be
Siblings and best friends forever
Nothing could come between thee.
There dad was their hero
As many could tell
But the day he passed
The whole world just fell.
The oldest sister
Understood a lot more
While the youngest sister
Just wanted out the door.
So much pain and sorrow
The family split apart
For many years
They relied on their broken hearts.
Finally things are getting better
The sisters are happy and talking again
Eleven years this April that he has been gone
So far from back then.
The years get easier
As time goes by
And the sisters stay forever
While their dad watch them from the sky.
