Show me how to live
I sleep amongst the carcasses
Show me how to break free
I seek liberation from my rue

My soul is still chained to a dark cage

Show me how to write
My pen can only scribble
Show me what to inscribe
My thoughts are all frozen

My brain needs to be thawed, it suffered a cold concussion

Show me how to breath
I forgot how to inhale
Give me a new heart
My heart was stolen without permission

By a sweet sorceress who still stalks my soul

    I really liked this poem!

    It was well written and I feel that a lot of people including myself will connect with the poem as well as the poet.

    What I got from reading this poem was how heartbreaking losing love can be. How our pastlovers can make us feel numb and cold as well as trapped in an emotion of hell.

    They aren't with you anymore but somehow still control you. They've taken away your existence and reason for being.

    A deep emotional poem
