Waltz with a Daisy

by Maple Tree   Mar 10, 2012

I bathed a soft
whisper within a
river of floating tears,
barren fingers danced,
twirling messages
In morse code
as a fallen leaf
rescues my
sadness,
granting me a
wish to waltz
with the daises
one last time....

Oh I love the opening few lines. It sounds so poetic and lovely. There is a hint of sadness within this beautiful poem. Loved the image of waltzing with daisies - awesome name to the poem

Awwhh...Well-written! Everything seems so delicate and peaceful in this poem, especially the emotion behind it. It's sad but I find it really interesting and sweet how the enviornment is rather therapeutic for you. It's really nice, Maple! Lovely.
