Before you came here
we were looking for another leader
that was fun like the last ones.
Another one we could call when
we needed a breather.
A friend and shoulder to cry on
when things got tough.

When you came we was shy
but you got us to open up.
A kid at heart and fatherly
figure is what you are.
An everlasting friend so
that's why saying goodbye is so hard.
But it isn't forever.

So we'll say farewell and good luck.
May you enjoy your time away.
Just remember you always have
a home with us,
and that we love you very much.

    This is such a sweet dedication to your Pastor. I'm sure he would cherish it if you ever let him read it. You can tell you truly care about him as well as other people in the church. I'm sure he's a wonderful man! :)

    Harlea I really admire this write. For us church goers, its very important to have a special connection with your pastor, and be able to communicate with him like he's just another member of the church. Some churches have pastors you have to make appointments with or can never see, and this is beautiful to see your love show for him.

    I am still able to feel your admiration for your pastor

    This is such a heart warming dedication about a unique relationship. I love how other countries seem so much more closer in the community than what we do in Britain.

    The message in this shows what an influence he has had on you and how he has touched the lives of many people and is going to be missed, this shows a very special person.
