A Tree is Born

by Maple Tree   Feb 21, 2013

Tiny seedling planted in earth
quenching rain, started my birth.

Kissing rays, sleepy eyes wake
budding, blooming, twigging partakes.

Growing firm, tall and wise
fingers branch, mesmerize.

Sprouting leaves within a haze
dropping soon, an autumn maze.

Circle's form for each year I whisper,
announcing the birth of a nature picture.

Oh Andrea, I love this, its really beautiful but I can see the symbolism and the whole personal touch to the piece.
You always pen such mesmerizing pieces when it comes to your spirit and nature and I love the rhymes, adds a gentle flow to the poem.
