Shadowy Angel

by Dominique Lewis   Mar 20, 2013

Voices are ringing in my head,
Why are they shouting?
Why won't they stop?
Your shouts echo through the empty hallway.

Curling up in the pain,
Letting the darkness consume you,
With the light vanishing in a swirl of shadows,
Growling from the caress of the dark's touch.

You open your new eyes and take a look around,
You smell something sweet and start your hunt,
Stalking your prey sounds too good to your ears,
Instead you go over to your prey,
"Hello are you lost?" You say with a voice as smooth as silk but as sharp as a blade.

He looks at you entranced by your radiant beauty,
And you make your move,
The blood dripping from your reddened lips,
Sighing from the pleasure.

Your fangs curl back and you go to stalk your next victim,
Hiding in the shadows which is your home,
Moving in elegant steps toward the mortal world,
It is time to become the blood thirsty angel with venomous fangs.
