Nothing to hold on to.

To fade away in the void of sorrow
to fade away within the shadow
of darkness can be the only way out
of this misery that is felt,

hurt shall be the down fall of ones heart
and yet no one really cares as they walk
past without even a glaze you're way,

I will just walk away from it all with my
head held high even though I can't hold
back the pain that lingers within,

I wanted to hold you forever and never
let go but I am unable to do this as my
heart tears apart from every direction.
