It Takes Two

by Ren   Jun 18, 2015

It takes two to sin the way we do,
But in a troubling world full of wicked people,
And their wicked games,
Who's to say our guilt is all but our own?
For we are all just sinners here,
Living amongst each other with fake lies,
And phony alibis...
But who cares?
No one.
And that is the truth in it all...
Because nobody cares...anywhere...
And as the cities grow darker,
And the people turn colder...
We will continue to drown in the problems of yesterday,
The broken dreams of tomorrow,
And the inescapable misery of today.
Because it takes two to sin the way we do,
And it takes a whole world of damaged souls to accept it.

How very true and how very sad.
