Sleeping With Writer's Block

by Baby Rainbow   Nov 27, 2015

I'm no longer falling asleep
with writer's block,
I'm now waking up
to a planet of poetry
where my pen
began to release emotions,
and two weeks on,
I am still doing it!

Pages and pages
of forgotten dreams,
falling asleep between the lines,
hoping that one day soon
my pen will have no more secrets to give,
and I can then return to a time
where I can easily fall asleep again
with writer's block.

Keep writing down everything from dreams, emotions everything you feel inside. Important is you are letting it out and it does not have to be in a poem. Your mind and heart are at peace.Enjoyed reading

A very freeing poem! Love how you share that once you can write all the secrets and dreams and emotions down and get them fully out, then you can be at peace. And it will be okay if you don't write for however long or go to bed with writer's block -- because you'll already have cleared your mind and eased your heart in a way.
