Lost and Found

by Biancas Veil   Dec 1, 2015

You beautiful woman,
You precious soul,
Mistakes are made and life takes its toll,
Hold you head high and show them you matter,
So strong yet so lost you'll find your way again,
We see the outlook you had on life,
You had no support with everyone being so far away,
I remember when we were children and bridesmaids in the wedding,
Eating candy under the desk when we were meant to be getting ready,
When we were young and nothing else mattered my happiest memories of visits and fun days out,
We had not seen you in such a long time,
So much had happened that helped you down the wrong path,
You had the strength to get help to realize where you were headed,
Our reconnection was bittersweet I'm sorry I was not there for you if I had known I could have done more,
So much love I have for you my precious gem,
Just remember Pressure forges diamonds the most beautiful gems of all.

I can feel the shame you have written here about losing such a precious friend. It is easy to overlook the pain when we are met with the response of 'I'm fine' but sometimes we need to look beyond the words people say.

Through adversity, heroes come. Out of pressure, toughness is forged.
