My heart beats less and less for you.
It feels as if it'll soon stop
pumping love to you.

You said, "You are my heart.
your love is the blood
that circulates through my veins.
It is your love that warms me up
And gives life to me. "

But honey,

it turns out,
that this heart of yours,
has a heart of its own,

And that this heart of mine,

beats less
and less

each

day

you

    You definitely hit on the process of letting go, it's hard to deal with loving someone who has other agendas. But in the end for your own sanity you do and then you look at that person with a "how the heck did I ever love you" look.

    We fall in and out of love and it takes a lot to get to that point. Once those feelings are gone it can make someone look pale. They in shock. That is my understanding of this write. Take care
