Dear Moon, Forgive Me

by Maple Tree   Apr 4, 2016

Every sigh the Moon makes
is another moment I have fallen.

Just a star,
burried under an earthy bed
of springs unforgiving nature.

Within Midnight's fervour
there is depth to my madness,

Thank you Moon for
helping me see the sun....

Your poems especially on nature is stunning and written with such elegance. The moon never really stands alone there is always a few stars not far. The moon shines through the night and the the sun is coming on providing light and warmth. Amazing how nature works.
    Absolutely beautiful. Take care

Andrea, beautiful as always! I too love the line of the moon sighing over your stumbles-the moon illuminates your darkness and helps you see another day. Well done! Brenda

I love alliteration with the 'm' sound - so soothing and subtle.

    All the best,

    Lovely little piece.

I especially like the last lines as moon gives way to the sun for a new day and we should all be happy for that.
