Beauty

by zvikov   Apr 17, 2017

A free spirit..
It can quicken the ugliest countenance,
But there cannot be found
A beautiful face,
To compensate for a wicked heart.

Happy is the man ,
Who finds a woman
Of a gentle nature
For she is way more precious..
Yeah, even more than a kingdom.

But woe to him ,
Whose only pleasure
Is in a woman's form
For such beauty is like a flower,
Observe how it withers
Its Splendor is remembered no more
For the ugliness surpasses
Its former Glory.

As they like to say, beauty is skin deep, ugly goes to the core. Some of the most beautiful have the ugliest cores.

Yes, outer beauty is only superficial; a ruse that fools the foolish and fades in time. What matters is what's underneath the mask - the true beauty. That's what should be cherished and appreciated.

    All the best,
