These Walls

by CânnâBîsh   Oct 20, 2017

These walls..
So tall & big.
Filled with emotions
From since I was a kid.
These walls..
Wearing thin.
Tell stories.
Some I try to keep hidden.
But you push through them
Even though its forbidden.
These walls..
Lurk.
Feeding off ones energy.
Exposing the demons.
You dont want out.
These walls..
Hold a lot over the years.
Like ditches in the dirt,
Stopping flooding in the fields.
These walls..
Have memories of you.
Ill never forget.
As long as I live.
These walls..
Are broken
Because of you.
But can simply be fixed
Also because of you.
These walls..
Plastered with my love for you.
So nothing can get between them.
& we can be at peace.
Everlasting freedom.

I love this. Love breaking down your carefully constructed, defensive metaphorical walls. Clever! :-)
