a perspective on life

a countless slumber
lies a quake
where the land around
keeps me in full

if the land shakes do I feel its rumble?
it creates a false security
for if ive known the rumble for a long time
i too may feel the calm
in the shakes

dreaming in black and white
breathing in colors

clear sight
in the pitch black night

just keep moving forward
each step leaves you more uncertain

unable to understand
if you can actually reach the light
or if it will continue to move ahead of you

soft rays of the sun
warming like doting
full fingertips

tears from the sky, sweet tasting

lids do open, like somber petals
unfurling to reveal, precious (iris)es

natural orchestra procured from reality
bumbling bees carry pungent honey notes

eyes wide open I finally see

this is why life is worth living
