The Little Big Things:

by Scott Cole   Jan 17, 2018

It's the little things that money can't buy
That the hands of time can't unwind,
Those keepsakes that's seldom sought
That always gives us a piece of mind.

It's those small details of particulars
That holds a reserve within our hearts,
Those accumulations of life well spent
That provides our happiness a jumpstart.

It's those absolutes that always coexist
Within the realms of our good grace,
Those best viewed circumstances overlooked
Though they're right in front of our face.

It's the calm pleasures of feeling content
Or the unsettlement of chasing after it,
Those attributes that bring us fulfillment
Those little big things we sometimes omit.
