The Flame

There once was a flame that was slowly dying,
Because of this a girl was crying.
You see, the flame had been fed lies all along,
Until finally it thought burning was wrong.
It tried and tried to put out light,
But then it just gave up the fight.
As light faded, so did heat,
The fragile flame finally felt defeat.
