Her

You could look at her
And never really see
What lies behind her eyes.

You could look at her,
See her smiles,
Hear her laugh,
Listen to the words she speaks

And never realize
That her smiles are fake,
That she speaks lies,
And often, when you're not looking,
She cries.

You could look at her
And never really see
The pain, the sadness
She tries so hard to hide...
